A question for the Chosen: why have you not banded together already? Some arrivals go back to almost a year, and yet you're still here. You're not without skill. There are summoners, magic users, and bomb makers in this city. Directed efforts could surely overpower our captors if there was direction.
Possibly there are those who want to stay here. Those who are dead in the world that they come from. But what of the ones who want to go home? What do they say? Are they just content to live their lives here while they have unfinished business at home?
It's possible that some of the lack of action is complacency. But others... may be a lack of leadership. Instead of waiting around for someone to save you, have you considered that you might be able to take charge of your situation? What holds you back? The Council? Jerry? That is one man, and an entity that we haven't seen thus far.
For now, it's food for thought. But I'd be interested to know who would actually be interested in leaving this place, instead of playing house in a world that dictates their actions. For those who may want to stay... what would life be like without the "Council" watching your every move?

I expect if one tried to formulate quick alliances, someone would take the leader's head off.
[Hint, hint.]

High stakes situations aren't foreign to me. I'm just setting the groundwork and testing the waters -- while I can act quickly if necessary, real coordination takes time.

The situation here might not be conducive to desperation yet, but do you honestly think it'd last forever?

but you know those frogs a month ago have 'dictated my actions' more than any council or anyone else here. far as i know they dont actually do anything aside from hand out chores every so often.

u sound pretty ticked that some of us want to stay here.
are u mad that no one wants u as our fearless leader?

I'm not "ticked". Isn't it human nature that one would want to stay alive when they're dead in their own universe?

...Do you really want to go back that badly?
[He wants to be as helpful to his brother as possible, like maybe if he does enough then Lelouch will truly love him like Nunnally. But what's he supposed to do if Lelouch getting what he wants here means losing him entirely?]

I have unfinished business with the world. [because that's not dramatic at all.] We don't know what sort of parallel universe this is -- is my absence noticed? Will this affect our timeline? Until I know those answers, it's a priority for me.

Giving the nature of some of your fellow Chosen responses, it's better to be anonymous.

That said, how do you plan to get people home? Are you capable of traversing worlds so easily? 'Tis a rare ability, and one not so easily accomplished by the average man. We also have no concept of the mechanism that has brought us here in the first place...

But if you would like to help, maybe you could organise a voyage beyond the horizon and let us know what you find. If nothing else, you might find something to explain how the creature we fought last month came to be infected with that black rot.

second, i assume all the other responses to your little "wake up sheeple" speech have sufficiently answered your question, but just in case you need any more reason to feel like an idiot today, let me give you a little tip: security around here's tighter than jerry's asshole. they've got power dampeners, psychic blocks, memory tampering, reality warping, the works. i haven't been able to punch through any of this shit and if i can't i highly doubt any of these other nobodies have a chance.
