Is there a crime you would consider unforgivable? What would it be?

And if that isn't the case, what is your idea of repatriation?

That depends from person to person, no? A crime that's mundane to one person could be a grave sin to the next.

If you're talking about your own crime, I think only you could decide if it's unforgivable or not.

My crime is not up for debate. I'm already aware it is unforgivable.

And I'm aware that it differs. Which is why I asked for individual thoughts on the matter.

Hmmm, if you're asking for opinions, I don't mind saying what I think!

I don't care much about morals, so which crimes are unforgivable don't really matter to me. That doesn't mean I would simply ignore them from happening though - I have my own goals, and if something is in the way of that goal, I would stop that person from committing those crimes.

I'm more interested in what people do when faced by the weight of their sins. Do they feel guilty about it? Do they want to move on from it? Will they drown in the face of despair? What happens is ultimately up to that person to decide.

I would consider a crime that aims to shatter the soul unforgivable, although there are of course also plenty of others that will be very hard to forgive.

Although "sunset" is right - sometimes just picking blazers over sailor uniforms can be be seen as the worst crime imaginable.

How does one shatter a soul? I'll admit, even I do not know such magics.

Very easily, if you know a person well enough. Or if you refuse to see them as a person at all. Many very common crimes actually aim for the soul.

I dunno, I think the whole idea of "unforgivable" is kind of dumb. I mean, forgiving someone only comes up if they stop doing what they were doing, right? Holding grudges after that doesn't make a lot of sense to me, I guess.

In my experience most do not commit crimes out of pure malignancy but because they feel they need to or have no other way to achieving what they want.

Some, though, simply enjoy suffering.

The whole concept of "forgive and forget" is bullshit. The only people who believe it are ones who haven't had anything terrible enough done to them. Otherwise they'd be changing their tune real quick.

No. I've dealt with instances where I've done truly terrible things to a person and I was still forgiven.
