I was just asking a question. But, yes, we could all be placed where and when we are from if we cooperate.

Then the question is... Would desperation to return to our time be worth cooperating with a world that kidnapped us?

I've been thinking about this a fair amount myself, as a matter of fact. I cannot decide whether it's more likely that it does or it doesn't, but some of the evidence here makes me believe that it might. Even so... I cannot say which I would prefer.

Magic to speed or slow time isn't unheard of. It would be an unprecedented undertaking, to affect an entire landmass... But our presence here already shows how mighty their powers are. Whoever "they" are.

If time is stalled, my question would be why? To what end?

There are many possibilities, so I wouldn't know.

If I were a being that could stop time and steal people away to other dimensions I would combine those skills to lay siege to entire worlds. Of course, I wouldn't want to assume that is what's happening here.
