Do you think time still moves in our worlds?

What evidence is that?

There are many here from my own world of origin, but our experiences and memories differ from one another's. For that to be possible, time must have continued onward while some of us were absent, or so it stands to reason.

Is such a thing truly possible? I had only considered our being plucked from various points along the same line.

I don't know for certain but I doubt time is as linear as people think. There are... ripples.

Ripples... as though an alteration is akin to throwing a stone into water, then. Interesting. What has brought you to this conclusion?

Life, time, space...

It is all connected. If time were only a straight line it would be very limited compared to the others.

[But really it's because ripples of time present more opportunities and makes the cosmos feel even bigger. The vision of the world that isn't understood by science is the one Sephiroth chooses to believe in. Deep down in his romantic core it just makes everything seem more...magical.]

I had not considered such. Your approach certainly opens the way for countless possibilities.

Still, regarding the initial question... I would like to believe that it does. None of us are so important that our worlds ought to stand still because we are not in them.

It would make no difference to our worlds if they stood still or not.

Perhaps not to the people therein, but it seems strange to consider that they stop for a single soul.

Given all we do not know, I suppose it is difficult to develop a strong theory either for or against.
