Hey everyone, this is Jim Kirk. Welcome to Aldrip's shiny new Adopt-A-Pet app! These lovely puppers are looking for good homes; all adoptions will go through Kakashi. Please reach out to him if you have an interest in any of the dogs you see here. We'll update periodically as dogs are adopted/new dogs taken in; please @thecapn in the help tool to alert me if you notice anything glitching with the application itself.

Schnitzel is an energetic Maltese mix looking to find his forever home. He's a goofy boy who loves squeaky toys and tennis balls. Schnitzel is also very affectionate and will lean in closer to you to get more cuddles.

Happy to help! Glad it all seemed to launch okay with the Aldrip interface.

Let me know when it needs updates and I'll make sure they go up. You should have access to marking off when specific dogs are adopted!

it would be nice to mark some off

the rate has slowed. i think it has to do with the village "settling" from its previous upheaval. some locals have adopted as well. it seems i become more official by the day

[it wasn't his intention to run aldrip's only dog rescue, but apparently that's where he's at.]

My loyal companion back home would get jealous if I adopted any of them, but I hope they get new homes. They look happy.

Tempting, but Repede has a great sense of smell. He'd know if anyone was intruding in his territory, even if temporary.

[Still, it's not like he would want to leave them alone...]

But if you're short of hands, I wouldn't mind babysitting them every once in a while. They can't stay at my room, but I can take them out on a walk.

Fair enough. I take it Repede is waiting for you, outside of this place?

I'll let Kakashi know, but I think he'd definitely appreciate it! I bring toys and food for donations. There are less dogs now than he started with, but still quite a number of them.

In part. I was looking for the source of the signal that transmits to all of our tablets. Wasn't able to find it - but the base code does take additions without complaint. Hence the dogs!

Can I entice you to adopt? I adopted one myself, they're all really well-tempered animals.

Isn't taking care of a pet supposed to be hard? I've never done it before.

Not hard necessarily, but it is a responsibility. Especially a dog; they need to be walked at least three times a day. A more energetic dog needs exercise, and they need to be fed and groomed, that sort of thing. Cats are more independent.

But they're worth the effort, in my opinion. Have you spent time with a lot of animals, ever?

What kind of temperament are you looking for? They're all really friendly, but some are higher energy than others.

We've got a Basset Hound we've been calling Sammy that you might like? He's got energy but also has his limit where he just sits down and refuses to move.
