Hey, Hons. I went to bed last night swearin it was a Sunday, but now it's midnight on a Saturday?

And my powers ain't workin neither, and I'm feelin like a toad caught in a weed eater. Is this happenin with anybody else, or am I just the lucky ducklin?

[ooc: fyi; she disappeared during the event, and now she's back. she also failed her sentence, so now her powers are wonky.]

Back? From sleepin? Cuz I've never went anywhere. I know we ain't livin together, Elf, but didn't think you were attached to me that much.

Well, this isnt the first time, it's just worrisome when this place gets happier than a tornado in a trailor park.

No, you don't get it! You thought you were sleeping, but you were straight-up gone! The clock's not playing tricks on you. It's been like half a month you've been missing.

You think they might've taken me so they could mess my powers, and it took that long to get rid of it?

Around that amount of time. I was really worried.

It's possible I guess? But there's not really much to go on here. Do you remember anything within that gap of time?

Well, I'm here now, Sugar. If ya need to come see me and have me hug ya, I don't mind. I know it's really late, but... at least I can give ya a real hug for now.

No, I don't. If nothin else, it was one of the best rests I've had.

I see. So no real clues as to what was going on, but I'm glad you got a good rest at least.

It's official now. One express hug coming out way as soon as we're done talking. Maybe even sooner!

You're such a doll, Honey. But I should be askin you if ya need sumthin. I've heard about the commotion that was goin on while I was snoozin. How are you and them? Scott and all.

I'm doing fine. And I really mean it this time! Things were pretty wild, but it was nothing we X-Men couldn't handle. I made it through in one piece, and last I checked, everyone else is doing fine too. I'm even completely stone-free now!

Well, that's right good!! Ya had me really worried there. And don't ever do sumthin that hog wild again, ya hear me? If you're in trouble, let us help. Family helps family, remember?

We work best thru the Tower of Terror if we work together.

I know, I know! I promise I learned my lesson and won't handle something like that again. From now on, it's all open family problems, all the time!

[He's been teleporting while texting her, and he enters the mansion just as he types that, ready to find her and spring that hug on her!]

Since when knickers don't count as pajamas? I might have missed the memo.

Since never!! Did you mix up the X-Mansion with the Playboy Mansion??

Okay I'm about to come in! Please spare my innocence!

[Kurt takes a deep breath, then he bamfs on into her room wearing his own plain pajamas, ready for a hug!]

[dont worry, rogue will always be wearing her pajamas when he bamfs into her room. and with a bright smile, she opens her arms wide to him.]

Well, hey there, Sugah booger! Mosey on over.

I knew you were trying to play me! [He grins as he steps up to give her a full hug.] Not bad, Sis!

I'm your big sister, I gotta pull ya leg sometime.

[and as for that hug, she squeezes him tight (and luckily, it's normal human strength when she does so) and exhales out a big humming noise when she does.]

This is gonna be one of the moments I'm gonna cherish the most.

You're right on that. It just means I've gotta really up my game!

[His smile softens as they hug each other. He's very grateful that she doesn't squish him! He hugs her back as tightly as he can with his meater mortal strength.]

Same. I- I'm really happy that you're not gone for good. [Even if she isn't the sister from his world, she still feels no less like family to him - and like a lifeline for him in this crazy world.] And you're home for the holidays!

[hearing him say this breaks and warms her heart simultaneously. it's always so lovely to know kurt (all version of him) means this much to him, even when they are not connected by blood. but it also hurts to even imagine how distraught he would be if they were ever apart. when she tugs away from their embrace, she rests both of her hands to each side of his cheek, and smiles lovingly at him.]

Oooh, baby, I'll always find my way back to ya no matter what happens. And yeah! Looks like I am, just in time to find us a tree and lights. ... If ya'll haven't gotten a head start on it already.

[The connection just feels so natural, almost as if they are from the same world after all. As she holds his face, he just looks at her with a warm, slightly nervous smile.]

Thanks, Sis. I'll hold you to that! [And his grin lightens up as he thinks of trees!] I actually haven't gotten a tree yet! I'd really appreciate the help picking it all out - it sounds like a lot of fun!
