Hey, Hons. I went to bed last night swearin it was a Sunday, but now it's midnight on a Saturday?

And my powers ain't workin neither, and I'm feelin like a toad caught in a weed eater. Is this happenin with anybody else, or am I just the lucky ducklin?

Otherwise no, but I expect your condition would likely be some effect gifted to you either by this place or the Council. No doubt the effects will be a few weeks long.

There are sum animals who do eat weeds, I reckon. But I'm more referring to a tool gardeners use to keep their grass lookin nice.

And a toad gettin trap between them blades? Well, you can imagine how tore up it's gonna look and feel. And that's how I'm feelin without my powers. I'm the toad.

Ain't that sweet of them? If only I could repay them the favor for the blessed gift they gave me. Really shouldn't have.

I've killed toads before. I suppose that being completely benign would be a rather significant change of pace. No doubt when you return to normal, you can take your pound of flesh from the Council.

I'm pretty sure that the color of your hair has nothing to do with it. Looking at the bright side, all you missed is having to deal with a doppelgänger that's hellbent on blurting out all the things you'd rather keep a secret. Which isn't how doppelgänger work at all in real, for the record.

Well, this isnt the first time, it's just worrisome when this place gets happier than a tornado in a trailor park.

Of course I'm all right. It takes more than a crumblin building or a subway to have me done give out.

But what do you mean by the devices goin offline? It was workin fine before I turned in for the night.

And I've tried liftin a couch both one and two handed, and I felt like I was gonna throw my back out. And I can't fly.

It was over two weeks ago that the electricity went out. Communication through the standard devices was impossible and monsters were running rampant through the streets. If you don't remember that, then it seems to me your nap was longer than you think.

[ But hey, it's better to see her defensively saying she's alright than the alternative. The missing powers bit is somewhat concerning though. ]

don't worry, we were able to handle it. the city's kind of a mess now, but it all worked out.
