Hey, Hons. I went to bed last night swearin it was a Sunday, but now it's midnight on a Saturday?

And my powers ain't workin neither, and I'm feelin like a toad caught in a weed eater. Is this happenin with anybody else, or am I just the lucky ducklin?

[ooc: fyi; she disappeared during the event, and now she's back. she also failed her sentence, so now her powers are wonky.]

Well, I'm here now, Sugar. If ya need to come see me and have me hug ya, I don't mind. I know it's really late, but... at least I can give ya a real hug for now.

No, I don't. If nothin else, it was one of the best rests I've had.

I'm doing fine. And I really mean it this time! Things were pretty wild, but it was nothing we X-Men couldn't handle. I made it through in one piece, and last I checked, everyone else is doing fine too. I'm even completely stone-free now!

[He's been teleporting while texting her, and he enters the mansion just as he types that, ready to find her and spring that hug on her!]

[Kurt takes a deep breath, then he bamfs on into her room wearing his own plain pajamas, ready for a hug!]

[dont worry, rogue will always be wearing her pajamas when he bamfs into her room. and with a bright smile, she opens her arms wide to him.]

I knew you were trying to play me! [He grins as he steps up to give her a full hug.] Not bad, Sis!

I'm your big sister, I gotta pull ya leg sometime.

[and as for that hug, she squeezes him tight (and luckily, it's normal human strength when she does so) and exhales out a big humming noise when she does.]

This is gonna be one of the moments I'm gonna cherish the most.

You're right on that. It just means I've gotta really up my game!

[His smile softens as they hug each other. He's very grateful that she doesn't squish him! He hugs her back as tightly as he can with his meater mortal strength.]

Same. I- I'm really happy that you're not gone for good. [Even if she isn't the sister from his world, she still feels no less like family to him - and like a lifeline for him in this crazy world.] And you're home for the holidays!

[hearing him say this breaks and warms her heart simultaneously. it's always so lovely to know kurt (all version of him) means this much to him, even when they are not connected by blood. but it also hurts to even imagine how distraught he would be if they were ever apart. when she tugs away from their embrace, she rests both of her hands to each side of his cheek, and smiles lovingly at him.]

Oooh, baby, I'll always find my way back to ya no matter what happens. And yeah! Looks like I am, just in time to find us a tree and lights. ... If ya'll haven't gotten a head start on it already.

[The connection just feels so natural, almost as if they are from the same world after all. As she holds his face, he just looks at her with a warm, slightly nervous smile.]

Thanks, Sis. I'll hold you to that! [And his grin lightens up as he thinks of trees!] I actually haven't gotten a tree yet! I'd really appreciate the help picking it all out - it sounds like a lot of fun!

Oh, well good! Back home, we usually get real a tree. None of them fake ones. — And it's lookin' like we ain't got much of a choice to go for a real one.

'Less the simulation wanna program us a Wal-Mart in a few weeks.

[she releases his face (for now), but continues to rest her hand on his arm or his own hand. it might not seem much for rogue in doing so, except she's not sure how long it'll take for her powers to restore, and she wants to feel the sensation of a touch for as long as she possibly can.]

I agree, nothing beats the smell of a real tree! But I guess we're stuck with whatever selection we have here. Hey, as long as it's with family, it'll still be fun!

[That's what matters really. He stands there in the moment as she feels his hand. It's nice, being able to make contact with his sister without having to worry about passing out or anything. Kurt smiles warmly at her!]

[she is clearly joking about the presents being the most important part of christmas, but rogue has to keep the tradition of people "claiming" that it is. with a smile, she returns to her bed to sit and pats an empty spot next to her.]

Speakin' of gifts, Honey, what do ya want from Santa this year?
