Simply said, there's two possible scenarios.

The first is that the world just keeps turning without us, and that there might or might not be somebody frantically searching for us. Whether they will be in time...

The second is that we all might as well just be already dead.

I am afraid that we don't seem to know for sure.

If we are not truly here, as many suspect, it may mean nothing. Our lives continue as they always have regardless of what occurs here. However, if we exist only within this simulation then once it ends, so will these versions of us.

I can't exactly claim to be an expert on this sort of topic.

But from what I have gathered so far, it depends. Even if this might be a simulation, that doesn't say all that much about our specific circumstances just yet. It depends on just how much is being simulated here. I guess it at least means that the world around us isn't very real, that much seems obvious after recent events.

But we could still be real.
