[The last thing Katsuki is used to is being uncertain - about himself, about anything he does, about the world around him and how it works. But this whole reset thing turned everything on its head. Sure, Izuku had explained about it probably being a simulation and all, but it was tough to quantify and really believe until he experienced the reset. Fought to make sure the reset happened, even though he didn't really know what that meant. So he has a few questions.]
if this is a simulation, what does that mean? for the people back home, I mean.
what does it mean for us?
["Is anything we do here real?" hangs in the air unspoken. That just feels a little too vulnerable to say out loud. All of this is a little too vulnerable, but he asks anyway. It's been weighing on him.]

I'm clever enough to recognize this, that's all.

Though I suppose people will learn the truth sooner or later.

'Tis insider trading! That is my crime!
I am an irredeemable wretch!

I get it, you're not telling. seems pretty pointless to me trying to hide it.

I was the owner of a lucrative merchant guild in Ul'dah. When I learned from a friend that an uprising was on the wind I sold our guild's fisheries to the Monetarists in exchange for a few blacksmiths. I made good coin from that agreement! The Monetarists were crippled when the war came and rebels shut down the city docks.
What a shame, eh?
[Every detail of this story is false. U'dah doesn't even have docks.]
Between you and me, I think I did them a favor. Everyone needs to learn some humility every now and then!
docks in ul'dah /laughs in canon familiar
all of that sounds boring as hell.

It is terribly boring!
Never allow yourself to become involved in finances. You will meet only the dullest people imaginable.
Now, what about you, hmm?
What is your crime?

[There's a pause before the next text back. A hesitation before he decides to own it.]
