[Rolo's not generally bothered by what anyone thinks, but somehow this feels like an extremely embarrassing thing to have to ask, so he sticks with posting anonymously like he has been so far.]
How does one go about "forming bonds" with people on purpose?
[ don't laugh please he has literally only ever stumbled into this by accident ]

That's a complex question! Not by itself, but because "forming bonds" can mean different things to different people. For some, it's simply talking to each other from time to time, maybe helping with something. For others, it's confiding in the other with your feelings, and being prepared to give your life for them. And there's everything in-between, too!
How to start is also dependent on a person, I'd say! Some people will be happy just if you walk up to them and ask, "Hey, wanna be friends?", while other would require more... patience, so to speak. To be perfectly honest, not being anonymous here would probably help people reach out to you~

It's for the sentencing. Is that really likely to be something so easy as just asking someone to be friends?
[It seems like it should be harder than that.]
And I don't really trust everyone here enough to say this with my name attached. This place is populated by criminals, isn't it? There are probably people here who'd take advantage of that.

I suppose that's true, though I've found the Chosen to be surprisingly agreeable, despite the circumstances! [ Or maybe that's just because she manages to bully everyone into behaving correctly. ] For what it's worth, I'd be happy to help you out! If you feel like giving it a shot, feel free to come over to my shop~
[ Maybe she could use that opportunity to try and get her own sentencing figured out... two birds, one stone, etc. ]

Well, having a shared interest is always a good way to make friends. There's a few clubs around here that you could join, like the cooking club. Or you can just make a letter about something you like and see who else likes it too.
What kind of hobbies do you have? Do you like reading?

Wow more rampant ableism
How are you supposed to make friends if no one knows who you are?

[He sticks with text so as to better remain anonymous, but the commiseration is oddly actually a little comforting. It's nice to know he isn't just uniquely broken. Granted, his issues go a little beyond being quiet and awkward, but still.]

Bonding can also occur over shared life experiences.

I don't know if I have time to wait for organically shared experiences or finding some mutual goal with someone.
