How does one go about "forming bonds" with people on purpose?

That's a complex question! Not by itself, but because "forming bonds" can mean different things to different people. For some, it's simply talking to each other from time to time, maybe helping with something. For others, it's confiding in the other with your feelings, and being prepared to give your life for them. And there's everything in-between, too!

How to start is also dependent on a person, I'd say! Some people will be happy just if you walk up to them and ask, "Hey, wanna be friends?", while other would require more... patience, so to speak. To be perfectly honest, not being anonymous here would probably help people reach out to you~

Well, having a shared interest is always a good way to make friends. There's a few clubs around here that you could join, like the cooking club. Or you can just make a letter about something you like and see who else likes it too.

You may have better luck at social events, or in populated places you might enjoy going to if you know how to strike up a conversation. Though since this is for a sentencing, and the result is likely needed sooner than another social event will come around... I suppose trying to befriend a Chosen you have things in common with might be the fastest way.

Bonding can also occur over shared life experiences.
