So this is tied to sentencing.
I refused to do it a few months ago. They retaliated by sealing my powers at a time when I really needed them.

It is. What was your sentencing? Why did you refuse to do it?

I was asked to turn friends in for crimes they might have committed. But none of them committed wrongdoings that would have been worth punishment, so I refused.

I guess I got off easy, then.

Yes. Though I don't know what metric they use to judge that.

Yeah. Hard to say how they're gonna count that one done. Maybe you can tell them about people you meet?

I feel like they must have some way of knowing things they shouldn't be able to, given the crime parchments and everything. I don't want to call it omniscience, but I can't think of a better way to say it.

I know what you mean. They know an alarming amount about us from the start, and people have been summoned for sentencing due to crimes they committed here, as well. It makes you wonder how they get this information.

I can only imagine supernatural means.
