Hello, all!

I was er... wondering if anyone had any ideas for simple meals. Very simple meals. Meals that even a child could make and don't require anything strange. I did have a hot box but... [he gestures to where there is a very exploded microwave] It blew up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh! Well! Fois Gras is a good one. Duck seared in plum wine, had that at a Christmas party, it was delish. Orange cake. Consommé, though it's been ages since I've had that. Hard to get at sea, you understand, being a rugged pirate and all that.

[Some of those she ... doesn't know. But hey! She's willing to learn.]

I don't know how to make some of those, but I'm sure we can figure something else. Do you know of a kitchen we can use?

Er... well... [he gestures behind him to the absolute mess of a kitchen behind him] This one?

Y-yes. That'll do. Do you ... have any supplies?

[Or should she bring some? Guess she should bring something to clean up the place with as well.]

Um... when you say supplies, what exactly are you referring to?

The ingredients you need or should I bring some stuff over?

Oh yes...er... I have this! [he holds up a shriveled apple] And...whatever this is supposed to be. [a rutabaga which has seen better days] I've had some eggs but they've gone off a bit.

Not much cooking can be done with that so I guess I'll have to see what I can gather up first.

Right. Well! I'll boil some water in preparation. Not even I can mess that up. [nervous chuckle]

Not unless you burn yourself.

[Which hopefully won't happen, but he seems like kinda a disaster.]

But that aside ... do you have any particular fruits or vegetables you like?

Oh just about anything will do so long as it's prepared well. I'm not picky, just refined. [it's a joke, though he's not sure how well it landed]

Really at this point a bit desperate, I think.
