[alright. so now she's feeling the effects of her Sentencing. she can barely lift her gauntlets now, and... you know what? with the way things are looking right now, she's not about to let all this get in the way of her protecting herself or the people she cares about.]
alright, who has a grudge that they need to work through? could be anyone from here, or at home.
or i guess, how do you forgive people who've fucked with you? would that even work in this case?
whatever. i'm just doing this to get my Sentencing over with. let me know so jerry sees it and i can move on with my life or however the hell this shit goes away.

I daresay it would depend on what they did!
I have been wronged in ways I refuse to offer forgiveness for.

i punched them in the face because they pissed me off and ended up being Sentenced for it. it was unrelated, but still. they piss me off.

Perhaps ask yourself, is the letting go of the grudge the same thing as forgiveness? Does it have to be? You don't have to forgive what's happened... very few people would. But does carrying the grudge help you in any way? Will it change anything, holding onto your anger and resentment?

no to both accounts, i guess.
i just... see them in my mind's eye whenever i look at that person. the people that died.

did they do anything suggesting that they want you to forgive them?
if they’re not looking for it or feel bad about it, then the whole thing’s kinda pointless

i mean or you could obliterate them from existence, immediately get curbstomped by their friends (and in this case jerry) and be a miserable bitter sack of shit about it for the rest of your pathetic life.
your choice really.

Seems like a hard ask among these people.
[ If the... previous replies were any indication. ]

they want me to reflect and apply it to my own life. basically telling me to get over this grudge, take my own advice, etc.
even then, there's a lot of people egging me on on just keeping it going.

these are not forgiveness, though.
but i am not sure forgiveness is necessary for moving on??
forgiveness is something granted to one that has wronged you. it is not for you. it is for them. moving on - that is for you.

the anger burns through her like fire sometimes, until she's overwhelmed and wants to throw things around her. all the same, a lifetime of the Zeniths control, the forced disassociation and agonizing simulations when she misbehaved-- screaming, crying, throwing things...it had never made a difference. eventually she'd given up.
