Good afternoon, this is Mitsuru Kirijo.
For those who don't already know, I have just opened a new establishment, House of Leaves. It's a combination of tea shop and book store.
I was considering hosting a book club at the shop. It will be held on a fortnightly basis, in the evenings, after closing time.
There will, of course, be refreshments for those concerned about that.
Please let me know if you are interested. I will also gladly accept suggestions for reading material.

I find that reading about people who are nothing like me is quite interesting.
[ You know, that same excuse she's used for watching the romance movies as well. ]
THAT'S NOT HER USERNAME LMAO I'M SO TIRED un: xxii
Oooh, I like romances, too! Scott groans whenever I want to go see one, but I think it's fun!
[Instantly jumps to "see" instead of "read" because this girl simply doesn't read books unless she has to.]
lmao i saw nothing!!

There is one that is a combination of ginger, galangal and turmeric that I find particularly pleasant to start the day with.

?
[The library? The ether??]
I am ill-suited to clubs but not to patronage
Where is your shop
?
no subject
It's located on the North-West border between the Commercial District and the Residential. I'm sure you'll find it conducive to quiet reading as well if that is what you prefer.
no subject
I was uncertain the simulation would be that robust
As for quiet reading
Perhaps
It has actually been many years since I read a novel
Do you have recommendations
?

[Because he can do that! He is able. But he wants to be clear on the rules before he tries.]

It’s not a prerequisite for joining that you must do both at the time. You don’t have to drink tea at all if that isn’t your preference.

i have never been to a tea shop and book store before
i was worried for the books

Not much of a fan when it comes to tea but you've peaked my interests with this supposed book club.
no subject
I'm sure we can provide coffee or something else you'd prefer during the club meetings. You'd be welcome of course.
Do you have a genre preference?
no subject
Not in particular but I enjoy works pertaining to technology and engineering. Though come to think of it they were more so manuals of teaching than books of fiction.

What sort of books are you thinking about reading? Fiction, nonfiction?
no subject
Fiction seems the more likely choice currently, although I have no objection to non-fiction suggestions if members have them.

I haven't had a lot of opportunities to spend time reading for pleasure, either at home or here. It's mostly been in study of healing and medicine.
I'm curious about what sort of stories people pick out.
