Yes, well. Being able to keep yourself fed without necessarily relying on the markets is certainly a skill that may prevent trouble later.

I could offer some assistance on how to properly track spending, but it will do none of us any good should the locals refuse to sell to us at all in the future.

I believe that may be best left to those with experience. However, there is no harm in learning something new, I would suggest starting small. Perhaps a garden to supplement personal needs.

Well, I have to pay fees to live at the inn, food, new clothes. There's a lot of little things you don't think about till you need it.

[ Granted, it's mostly a surprise to Ange since it's been so long since she last lived there.. Her friend asked her to move in with him months and months ago now. Even before the city changed like this in the first place. ]

I guess it really did become a modern place when this city changed, if it suddenly made this much more greediness show up in this place too. Back when it was more medieval, they let you stay around in exchange for some chores.

Huh? Yeah, that was before everything reset though. We get a month for free to get on our feet, then we have to pay room and board.
