[The video opens with Silco standing in front of an new establishment in the entertainment district. There is the sound of renovations coming from within, a pile of old debris and broken items off the side that will be repurposed. Still, the sign is lit up announcing the place.

Silco gestured with a hand at the new establishment, the corner of his mouth twitching in what might be his version of a smile.]

This is The Last Drop, a bar from my home in The Lanes. I have been blessed to have it brought here for all of you to enjoy with me. A little taste of my home called Zaun, and it is as rough as it is eclectic.

[He turned to look at the place as the sounds of hammering and saws continued inside. He didn't even seem annoyed at all.]

Apologies on the noise, but it's not in the state I previously left it due to a ruffian having a fight inside before it arrived here. It's unfortunate, but not unexpected given where it came from. Some people can't handle their liquor and emotions at the same time.

Anyway, The Last Drop will be open to serve the community of Aldrip in one week's time. I invite all of you to attend the grand opening. It will be quite the party.

This is the best news I've seen in this place, bless you sir.

[ A proper bar, one that is not a touristy tavern or a high class speakeasy vibe, thank the damn stars. Jim was not made for a sober existence, especially with everything Aldrip had seen fit to throw at him since his arrival. This place definitely looks more his speed. ]

Is that so? Well, first drink is on me then when we open.

[High praise already. He knew he had made the right choice bringing the bar here.]

[ And quite possibly his Vulcan shadow, on occasion. Jim wonders if he could convince Spock to drink a chocolate martini. He might have to bring the syrup with him, but it would totally be worth it. ]

[ her sister can expose her anger all she wants, but jinx is going to stick to audio on this one. ]

[That was almost less explosive than he was expecting. He still made a point to look around to see if she was running down the street at him. He wasn't a fool.]

Should it? You've had plenty of opportunity to bring it here, but time has lapped you on that matter. Besides, don't you work at Lupin? If you want a job at the Last Drop, all you have to do is ask.

[The last word was positively purred. He dared her to.]

[oh. she's on her way. there's buildings passing behind her right now. it's almost like she wants him to know that she's on her way.

she doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to "bringing it here", but she's going to comment anyway.]

What? It's not like you don't own half the goddamn city. You think I can't run two bars??

And don't even joke about me working for you again. I'd never.

[Caitlyn is so confused?? Things have been weird anyway thanks to the strange memories that came with the change up in Aldrip, but what she's always been sure of is Vi. They've been around each other long enough now that she can guess pretty confidently how Vi will react to something, and this? This is not what she's expecting.]

Vi? What's going on? Did something happen between you and Silco?

[she thought things were improving with them over the last month, but maybe she missed something??]

So does this mean that your intention is to stay in this place?

[ Granted, they did talk about finding a solution as to the Council's - and whatever other being's - power over them in this place, but it only occurs now to Ange that she never did ask Silco if his investment in that involved wanting to find a way home the way she did or not.

I never had any intention of leaving this place. There is no where for me to go, so this has no other option than being my new 'home'.

[He had plans on making this place more to his liking so he was comfortable and, if Jinx decided to stay, she had a future that she could enjoy if natural death was still a reality of this place.]

Investing in the future is good hobby, but also, it is my way of seeing how far I can push the Council.

That first part isn't so surprising, but that last part.. Given the conversation is private in the first place, she figures she might as well ask. ]

[Guess whose memories are still fucked up!! She had been right there with Vi, thinking Silco was the loving father figure for Vi and Jinx, and while it's faded for Vi, it sure hasn't from Caitlyn's mind.]

I'm sorry about Vi. I'm not sure what's gotten into her.

[This memory tampering was becoming tedious. At least he didn't have to worry about Jinx interfering on this one.]

I expect emotional attachment to memories of the place. You know she's hot-headed.

[If there's one benefit for him, Caitlyn hasn't been monitoring Silco's coming and goings like before, because why would she need to?]

I know. After everything that happened with you, and then Vander afterwards, it's been a lot for her. I'm sure she'll come around with time.

[Vi still won't tell her all the details of the shit that went down, but she knows it was bad, and most definitely traumatic.]

It's where my strengths lay, and it's what I enjoy. I see no harm in making it so that the Chosen have control of resources in case the natives turn on us again.

[He understood why it made people nervous, but he frankly didn't care. He was doing this, and now he also had control over the production of currency.]

[ He'd maybe understand if he was gathering some political power or something that actually affects people... but as far as Ragna can tell, he's just selling stuff. Which is as harmless as it is boring. ]
