[The video opens with Silco standing in front of an new establishment in the entertainment district. There is the sound of renovations coming from within, a pile of old debris and broken items off the side that will be repurposed. Still, the sign is lit up announcing the place.

Silco gestured with a hand at the new establishment, the corner of his mouth twitching in what might be his version of a smile.]

This is The Last Drop, a bar from my home in The Lanes. I have been blessed to have it brought here for all of you to enjoy with me. A little taste of my home called Zaun, and it is as rough as it is eclectic.

[He turned to look at the place as the sounds of hammering and saws continued inside. He didn't even seem annoyed at all.]

Apologies on the noise, but it's not in the state I previously left it due to a ruffian having a fight inside before it arrived here. It's unfortunate, but not unexpected given where it came from. Some people can't handle their liquor and emotions at the same time.

Anyway, The Last Drop will be open to serve the community of Aldrip in one week's time. I invite all of you to attend the grand opening. It will be quite the party.

Amateur engineer, I have an interest in it. I'm more of a strategic intelligence guy.

Still not used to that. Makes you wonder what else They from the department of Them can do.

So you’re the one that keeps things running smoothly, and they tell you what is and isn’t possible in the timeline that you’ve set for them.

Considering, they can alter our emotions, nullify special abilities, and bring back the dead, I expect what They can do is only limited by the imagination.

Pretty much. If you've got a ship of 400 people, someone's got to keep operations going - making sure they're all getting what they need, on time, on target.

I'm new in town so I haven't had a chance to experience most of that myself yet. I guess the better question is, what's the end goal; and we just have to hope the answer isn't 'entertainment'.

We don't have that many Chosen here, and many chaff under the idea of uniting under leadership. I expect you'll still find a place to promote those skills.

Likely entertainment. Why else bring back the dead and drag in the living?

I suppose I’ll see where I’m needed. Whether or not I’m wanted. Most people will swallow it when push comes to shove, if they know you’re the best chance they have at survival.

[ Maybe that’s dark, but given the stories he’s heard, Jim’s pretty sure it’s apt. ]

Why indeed. There are worse things than singing for our supper, I guess.

There is a place for everyone, I imagine. We all bring a unique set of skills, but leadership might be tricky. No doubt you have other skills to employ that will be well-received.

[Silco will be more than happy to give anyone a job. Easier to keep track of them.]

Considering I don't sing, I'm not so certain.

[ He's definitely not looking to lead, persay; seeking out a position like that only makes you a target in situations like this, and frankly he's got enough on his plate with the crew he's supposed to be in charge of now whittled down to one, on a technicality - but taking charge of an emergency situation, that, Jim will certainly do if necessary. ]

Got a few party tricks up my sleeve. Can't deny I'll be the grateful beneficiary of your business acumen in a week's time.

Diametrically opposed to the idea, I take it?

I will be looking forward to observing these tricks of yours. We'll see how they measure up to those I'm familiar with back home.
