Good afternoon.

My name is Mitsuru Kirijo and I am going to be taking over management of the casino.

Obviously Aldrip has gone through some significant changes as of late and some of you may be looking for new employment.

Once renovations are complete we're going to have various positions within the casino to fill including bar staff, security, dealers etc. On the subject of dealers, we are also open to suggestions as to what games we're going to be running.

Anyone who has visited the premises in their current state will be aware that there is a substantial amount of work to be done to get the place up to even a halfway decent standard. As such, I would also be pleased to hear from those of you with a flair for interior design.

Lastly, if anyone is interested in adding to our existing investment in the business then please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss further.

I don't need to intimidate them -- I can usually feel when someone's lying. If they are lying, then I intimidate them.

ah, so you have decided to pick up that run-down place.
that does sound like a promising investment, at least if the casino from the fake Aldrip is to give any indication.

what kind of renovations are you looking for?

Run down would be an understatement at the moment.
Still, it has potential.

The whole place needs cleaning and sprucing up from top to bottom. The existing layout itself is workable but the decor needs refinement.

I'd still be concerned about the surrounding environment.
However, an fine, high quality establishment like this could be exactly what the area needs to make the neighborhood and its surroundings flourish.

I have worked with several designers and model agencies back in my own world. It is not exactly the same but I do think my experience could be of use to your project.

If the design isn’t your strong suit then how are you with a paint brush generally?
Or repairing broken furniture?
… Or removing unsavoury types from the premises?

The place has seen better days so there is plenty to be done before we even get to the design aspect.

I'm not sure that I'd want to live out of the casino itself, a place close by seems preferable to me.

[There aren't that many things that have surprised Kei in the short time he's been in this world as the words he now reads on his screen. Well, two of them anyway.

Mitsuru Kirijo.

The odds of there being another person with her name were slim. Even if he didn't have a good memory, it would be part of a family that would have been drilled in his head at a very young age; the next young heir of the Kijiro Group. Separated from the Nanjo Group a short while ago, becoming fierce business partners. Publicly so that the accusations of the Nanjo Group having a monopolistic grasp on various markets were squashed, but, he now suspects, so that their...shadier (if that's the right word for it) operations would be split accordingly, if anything about what he found out about his own family dealings recently served as a clue.

It made him realize that Kouetsu Kirijo's passing last year might not be what he was told either. Not that he couldn't do much about it, having been notified of his death by Matsuoka while at Oxford so that he could send his condolences accordingly, but also told to continue with his studies and not to worry about it. All of this might explain a lot more the accusations he had been given on that piece of paper when he had arrived here.

Yet he would have expected Takeharu Kirijo to show up in this world, despite the man's lack of a Persona. In his mind...the idea of his daughter running a casino as well...he knew at least one person close to him that would a regular...Sigh. Naoya Toudou. He hadn't even had time to greet his friend properly before he'd been whisked away to this damned place.

The more he thinks about it, the more he realizes that the casino is an excellent way to build up resources and information. Nothing less than he'd expect from an heir of the Kijiro Group. Time, he had realized fairly quickly, didn't seem to have meaning here, much like in the Velvet Room, if they were able to meet like this. Still, he can't rule out the faintest possibility that he is wrong about who this is, and he needed to put that to rest. So he sends his regards accordingly;]

[ It's a phrase that is almost as familiar to her as breathing, yet at no point had Mitsuru ever expected to hear it uttered here. Let alone receive it in a mysterious text message.

There had been a time where she had hoped that her father might show up here, so many of those she had known to be dead had after all. Of course Takeharu Kirijo is the first person she thinks of when she reads this message. After over half a year living in Aldrip though, her expectations are far more realistic. It won't be her father.

But... who then? ]

Who is this?

[ No greeting, no pleasantries, all business. This stranger had set themselves up for no other reaction. She needs to know who this is. ]

I've had many dealings with the casino over the last few months, and I see great potential in it. It is so nice to see someone taking an interest in revitalizing it to be something more than a sad desperate little place.

Certainly. Is direct involvement in the day to day of the business something you're interested in or are you wishing to take on the role of more of a silent partner?

Particularly as we'll need to keep an eye out for cheating.

Likewise, monster hunting was our go to source of income. However, as you say, it has become more challenging as of late.
