[When Saito walks out of the inn, he expects to see someone — as in, a person or at least a humanoid in some form — waiting for him. Instead, what greets him is the sight of a white, big dogg—er, wolf.

Is this someone's pet... or something? It's unlikely to be a wild animal, given this is inside Aldrip. And not only that, for it to be sitting exactly where he asked his mysterious messenger to meet...

Scarf in hand, he simply eyes the creature, as though expecting it to make the first move. This isn't a hunt, after all.]
