[ The video, hologram, or whatever you want to call it begins with Mitama standing in front of a building that may look unfamiliar to people who have been in Aldrip for a long time, obviously excited to be addressing everyone. ]

Why, hello there! Some of you may already know me, but for those who don't, my name is Mitama Yakumo and I'm a magical girl!

[ Just like that. Most, if not all girls of her world would never reveal their secret, least of all in such a flippant way, but Mitama is way past pretending she's a normal girl, especially when she's got important business related to her abilities. ]

Now, some of you may be wondering what a magical girl is... Allow me to demonstrate!

[ She presents a small, egg-shaped, blue gem to the camera, and as the object starts to shine, Mitama begins her transformation. You know the type ─ one with pretty choreography and fancy magical lights that conveniently help to keep any potential nudity to PG levels as parts of her costume pop into existence one after another. It might be a little shameless, but the girl is clearly having fun with it, and once she finishes, she's standing in her full magical girl attire. ]

As you can see, I'm the real deal! And today is your lucky day, as I am officially offering my humble services as the Coordinator to all of the Chosen! [ She winks at the camera. ] That's right! The Coordinator's Shop is open for business here in Aldrip!

[ She points to the building behind her, making sure to show the surrounding area too; now people who know Aldrip well will definitely realize it wasn't there until a little while ago. But Mitama doesn't waste time explaining that, and instead focuses on what truly matters: her work. ]

What is a Coordinator, you might ask? Well! My magic allows me to strengthen the abilities and enhance skills of other people~ That's right, I'm talking about you! Ever wished you could be more powerful, but you feel like you've reached the limit of your development? Would you like to tap into your hidden potential, but don't know how to do that? That's where the amazing Miss Coordinator comes in!

[ She twirls on the spot and bows to the camera to indicate the title means her. But before she continues, her expression changes for a moment, showing a bit of disbelief and concern. ]

"Oh, but wise and beautiful Miss Coordinator," I hear you say, "how do I know your powers of adjustment can help enhance my skills?"

[ The girl claps her hands together enthusiastically, not deterred by this potential doubt that some might voice in the slightest. ]

An excellent question, imaginary audience member and potential client! You see, in order to celebrate the opening of the shop, for the whole month of October, I will perform a simple screening session to determine how I can assist you completely for free! And that's not all! For the first week, that is until October 14th, all adjustment services will be offered at half the price! A chance like that might not happen ever again, so you better hurry up!

[ She leans forward, pretending she's hearing something from the charm, before continuing. ]

What's this? You're still hesitant to try it? Well, this won't do! How about this, then? The very first person who visits my shop today will receive a whole single adjustment session, free of charge! I'll see you there~

[ Is Ange the first person who shows up?

.. Probably not, she figures. But it's not like she cares a whole lot about what the price of all of this might be. It's not Mitama's claims of sales or special offers that draw her in - it's that she's curious about the service in the first place.

If this isn't some sort of scam, it might be exactly what she needs. And the fact that Mitama did display some power means she's willing to put at least a faint hint of trust into this.

So there's a knock at the door to Mitama's shop, followed up by: ]

Oh, wise and beautiful Miss Coordinator. [ That voice couldn't possibly be any more deadpan and sarcastic.. ] You in there?

[coordinatroll]

[ This couldn't be more perfect! Just the person she wanted to see enter her shop as the first client of this world. Mitama appears almost out of nowhere, the loud sound of a party popper in her hands announcing her presence as she makes sure all of the confetti and party streamers flying out of it land squarely on Ange's head. ]

Congratulations!! As the very first guest at the Coordinator's Shop (Aldrip Edition), you will receive aaall of our services for free today!!

[ She's perfectly happy with the way the other girl kept the "wise and beautiful" additions to her title, completely ignoring the fact Ange is clearly being sarcastic. So what if it's not genuine? She still likes the sound of it! ]

[entreats]

[ Ack, sheesh--

It's a small miracle that Ange's startle doesn't show up on her face, because it sure happened internally, only her pokerface saving her here. How else is one supposed to react to suddenly having party poppers go off in a place like this, especially while Ange wasn't even sure whether Mitama was present in the first place?

Not like the girl is fully escaping the indignity though. No, the streamers and confetti are definitely landing on her, giving Mitama the rather humorous sight of Ange standing there, looking as deadpan as ever, but with streamers hanging off her pigtails and confetti nestled in her red hair. ]

.. are you saying the real payment was giving up some of my dignity just now? [ Because it sure feels like it!! ]

[coordinatroll]

[ Mitama has to wonder if the poor girl doesn't realize her lack of reaction (which, she assumes, comes from bottling it up) only makes the image of her standing here in the hallway, stone-cold expression on her face and colorful confetti in her hair, all the more hilarious? She chuckles to herself softly before responding. ]

That's a part of it, yep!

[ ... Wait, is she serious? No time to think about it, as the girl spins around and walks further into her shop, gesturing for Ange to follow her. Once they arrive at the main room, she waves in the general direction of all the chairs and sofas, inviting Ange to make herself at home. ]

Take a seat! Would you like some tea~?

[entreats]

[ Look, Mitama's answer doesn't even make Ange blink, since it's very much what she expects someone like Mitama to say in this sort of situation. Even if the other also seems to be dealing with witches the way Ange does, the other girl certainly has some witch-like traits..

So Ange instead silently follows her into the space inside of the shop. It doesn't really look the way she expected it to, but rather than the surprise showing fully on her face or anything, she just blinks in surprise once or twice before picking a random chair - not a sofa, imagine maybe having to share that with someone else, terrible!! - to sit down on. ]

I guess I'll have some. [ As if it's a huge burden to drink some tea.. Please, Ange, the girl is offering you a free service!! ] You sure have an interesting sense of interior decorating.

["Magical girl" isn't exactly a superhero, but it's got the same vibes, and there's obviously a costume involved, so it's close enough to be a breath of fresh air. Finally, someone normal!]

An obvious grift and a 50/50 shot at screwing up my powers? How could I refuse? [I mean it's not like Quentin seems put off at all. He can respect the hustle, okay!]

Hypothetically could you, I dunno, restore powers that got kneecapped by a cosmic fire god?

[ Mitama pouts lightly, though it doesn't seem that she's genuinely hurt by his attitude. It's more like she's running along with what he says. ]

How rude! With my expertise, it should be at least 70/30 in favor of getting the desired effect~

[ She's joking, of course. Mitama is nothing if not fully confident in her abilities. She smiles again, clearly not deterred by a mention of a god. It's actually kind of exciting to think about! ]

Hmm, I can't really promise anything without taking a proper look at you, but hypothetically, I think I should be able to do something about it!

[He does notice she doesn't have an argument against the "obvious grift" comment.]

And if hypothetically my powers are normally unlimited, I don't suppose that would make a difference, eh?

[ Why bother? People can form their own opinions, and she's used to unfair judgement from others. She has all the confidence in her skills and is more than happy to prove herself capable instead of talking about it. ]

Hmm, I suppose not? Although I have to admit, I don't think I've ever had a client like that!

[ It's exciting, in a way; she's sure there are many different powers she's never seen before among the people here, and she's eager to start adjusting them. ]

Oh, I'm sure you haven't seen anyone like me.

[And he's very humble, too! Oh wait, that actually reminds him...]

You got telepaths in your world?

[It's a question worth asking, since she might actually not have seen someone like him.]

[Scott's honestly less interested in the whole 'being more powerful' bit and more about the fact that she's a magical girl-- someone with powers. Dude, he didn't know that! And her whole transformation thing also reminds him of Usagi, maybe they're similar? Their powers are extremely different though, but that's cool.

Him and fucking Quentin are completely different after all. Nonetheless, he finds himself smiling slightly at the video.]

You never mentioned you had powers, Mitama. You've been holding out on me.

[ Mitama chuckles in response to that reaction. Not just because it's funny and she enjoys playing up the whole ~mysterious Miss Coordinator~ angle, but also because until a little while ago, it would have been unthinkable for her to talk about her powers and the like with anyone other than other magical girls. In a way, it's a breath of fresh air for her. ]

Oooh, but it wouldn't be fun if I revealed everything right off the bat, now would it~?

Okay, I have to admit, the mysterious air is pretty cool, but actually seeing your transformation and everything is even cooler.

[Although, maybe the mystery and all built up to it? Whatever, Scott isn't going to think too hard about this.] Guess I'll have to extend a personal invite in joining my club now.

[ She doubled her coolness stat! How cool is that? But this time it's Scott who reveals something she wasn't aware of, and Mitama raises her eyebrows questioningly. ]

Oooh? What kind of club is it?

Teenagers With Abilities and Talents club. Haven't heard of it yet? Guess I've been slacking on promoting it lately, but you'd definitely fit right in.

[Forever stuck as TWAT club... but what can you do.] You know, with the title and everything, everyone sort of has an ability.

[He's pretty sure the only one that didn't have a 'defined' ability was Juri, but she's gone.]

[ Without missing a single beat, Mitama replies with a bright smile and not a hint of surprise. ]
