[And with that, off Ken goes to meet her! Grabbing some leftover fabric (in a way of some red, yellow, and orange), he hoped to see Jinx somewhere. Although, he does have his worries as he wondered what she might be planning and especially with how their previous encounter was like....]

( so here is a sight to see when ken approaches closer and closer to the seafood shack she instructed him to meet her there. for starters, there's someone familiar (aka her) rushing out of the doors with a shack over her shoulder. her maniac crackling is soaring throughout the skies, in fact, it wouldn't be a surprise that he hears her laughter before actually seeing her. and as the girl is running, some cooks bolt out of the door to scream, "hey! come back here!!" after her. )

Ha ha ha ha! Yeah, like that ever works!!

( she exclaims that to them, looking over her shoulder briefly before looking on ahead again. oh look, it's ken! jinx skids with her boots to a halt -- grinning wildly to him. )

Hiya, Kid! Glad ya made it. C'mon, let's book it before they start throwin' ladels!!

[And somehow, he shouldn't be surprised the moment that he saw a strange girl running out of the place with a loud laugh. As he stared at her, he found himself blinking at what just happened. But then again, should she even question what she was doing?]

[Before he could say anything else, that's when the cooks starting running after them. With no time to lose, that's when he ran with her!]

What did you just do....?!

Whaddya mean?! ( she asks, jogging beside him and trying to not use her shimmer speed for this chase. jinx can easily leave all of them in the dust if she truly wanted to, but that would mean leaving poor ken behind. and how will she get that fabric if she had done that? )

If I'm gonna teach ya how to cook, we gotta have ingredients right?

( hence why the cooks are extremely upset. but they are an establishment, and they can always get their stuff replaced. so no harm done in her book! )

[He really should have known better. Of course, she would go out of her way to steal some ingredients for the sake of helping him. Not that he can really complain when he had to get these tasks done but...!!]

We could have just went toward the vendors instead of doing this! Wouldn't that been the easier thing to do!

[No seriously, why??]

Easier but waaaaay less fun! 'Sides, food tastes better when it's stolen. Trust me!

( should he at this point? but on the brighter side of things, it seems the cooks are running out of steam and had given up on chasing the duo. so with that, jinx begins to slow down in her pace -- not breaking one sweat from the fleeing but gives ken a moment to catch his breath if needed. a soft sigh escapes her lips though as she straightens up her spine. )

Now that was a good jog! — I think I oughta go out for runs from now on.

[You know what? He just wasn't going to question it Not when he was in a world filled with criminals. Just as they managed to outrun the cook, he managed to slow down as well before taking in a deep breath in.

Placing both of his hands on his knees, he slowly got his breath back to normal. However...]

...Maybe I should too. I think I've been slacking off after being here for a while.

[He mumbled to himself before looking back up at Jynx.] ...I still can't believe you did that.

If you think that's wild, then you oughta see what I can do with a lil' grenade, rope, and paint.

( she'll continue to be patient, letting the poor thing grab some more air for his lungs as she stretches. )

— So you gotta place we can go to make our dinner?

I think I'll wait and hear that another time. Although, I can imagine just how interesting it'll be.

[With that, he'll just take in another deep breath in before standing back up.]

Yeah, I do. It's at the farmhouse but please do be careful. It belongs to someone else and I don't want to see the kitchen get ruined.

( she doesn't sound like it at all nor look as if she is. instead, she is still grinning wildly while readjusting the bag over her shoulder. )

[That and he really didn't want to be yelled at for not taking care of the place! With that, he gave a sigh before gesturing him toward a certain direction.]

( jinx shrugs over the downside of their journey, the smile on her not flattening in the slightest. )

I could use the leg work. 'Sides after a run or a jog, you gotta walk afterwards or else you'll get cramps.

( at least from her experience with exercising. it's always a good idea to have a "cooldown" period after an intense workout. especially if it's a sudden one like just a few moments ago. )

[He said with a chuckle before moving onward. Although, now that it was going to be quite a walk, he found himself not really knowing what else to say. Instead...?]

( jinx is a little taken back by his words, but she hides her surprise as quickly as she is able to. )

( she gives a boy a little bump with her elbow as they venture on. if he stumbles over from it, it'll be extra funny! )

Being cooped up here ain't so bad, really. Don't really see the hub bub on wantin' to go back home. Especially when the "whoevers" can just yank 'em here!

[With the bump on said elbow, he just raised an eyebrow. Suddenly, he couldn't help but be reminded of a certain friend of his back home (and perhaps even here too).]

I like to think that they just have something important to do back home. If it's a promise that they made to someone, it's only right to keep it.

What could be more important than relaxation? — Here, you can literally do whatever you want. Who wants to give that up?!

( her regular steps now turn into light skipping, humming with glee. jinx might be a little bit of head of him due to this, but surely he'll let her know if she needs to make a turn somewhere. )

Definitely not me. And when I get all the stuff I need, I'm gonna host a big fireworks show for everyone to see...!

[He wanted to say something but he wasn't sure if he should. While there was no real immediate danger in his world for now, he knew that it might not be the case for some people. Instead...?]

Perhaps that there was something pressing they needed to back home? Such as saving the world from a God?

[Which he was still kind of doing in a way.]

...I think that seems slightly more pressing?

But everything is frozen in other realms, right? 'Less that's a buzz I heard from someone.

( now whether that is true or not, whose to really say. if time is on a stand still, then that's probably a good thing for most people. regardless, it means very little to her if runeterra is on-going or not -- the two cities back home are at each other's throats and want her blood specifically. so why go back to that? )

Is that so? But you can say that. It's more than my friends managed to defeat a couple of Gods and I'm just worried that I might not be around to help them if they come back.
