( as much as he can admit honest truths, like his distrust, without batting an eye, he's both surprised and strangely comforted by the fact that this stranger doesn't just leave it ominously at that.

I don't think any of what I did with the house of shadows could constitute as a crime. it didn't even have planning permission for the extra floor it'd decided to construct.
