So more people have been seeing or hearing weird stuff across the pendants, right? I know some of you have mentioned it.

For those of you who haven't shared it yet, it might be useful to do so. Maybe all of this can be put together into something.

For the record: I saw a few people talking together about getting stuff from 'home.' I imagine they mean from their own worlds, considering someone talked about getting a car, and this place isn't exactly highway central. I don't think I recognized them, so it's entirely possible there was a different group of people just like us somewhere around here before us-- though they didn't look like they were here in town exactly.

You know, unless these pendants are just showing us weird illusions rather than past events. Guess both possibilities are equally ridiculous, just like everything else in this place.

Does anyone also have a clue why some of us are seeing or hearing stuff like this in the first place?

Sorry to give you bad news, but I'm pretty sure they're not around anymore. They disappeared after we dealt with the infected people.

But I guess they could still be around somewhere. They seemed like ghosts, after all. Maybe rather than fully disappearing, they just went somewhere else.

I couldn't tell you where though. I'd be fine with those things staying away from us forever. They're annoying.

At least Ange doesn't have to question someone's intentions in wanting to help her - for once - if not just because she's sure that Jinx is just doing it because it's the latest thing that happens to catch the girl's attention, judging by her previous behaviour. ]

Because Ange? She's momentarily baffled. A weird sound leaves her throat, so glad she's in private, and her cheeks may even faintly colour. Just for a moment, though, before she's trying real hard to recover enough to reply. ]

And it's not even me having anything against deception. [ Or, well, Ange dislikes it when people lie to her, sure..

But she can also recognize it's very helpful in some other cases. ]

It's just that I think acting all fake and friendly is dumb. There's plenty of other ways to get what you want, if you really try.

You already mentioned using the gun. That's way easier. Then why go out of your way to put up an entire act when you have a method that's way quicker?
