Hi everyone!
Jerry gave me some homework. Can you help me with it, please? ( •̯́ ^ •̯̀)
He wants me to ask if there's such a thing as going “too far” to protect someone you love. What extent would you go to protect others? Would you physically harm them if it meant saving them from harm?
Oh, you can respond with video or call or text or whatever, that's fine! If you want to talk to each other too, that'll probably help, also.
Thank you! ₊˚⊹♡

its hard
im not the one who fights to protect people
i fight for justice
but i guess
sometimes protecting people is part of justice
i guess
protecting people is important
most of my fights here have been to protect people come to think of it

[She can't help but think about Ken and his drive to avenge his mother -- but also, how driven he was to work hard and fight alongside the rest of her team. Akechi, too, had talked a lot about justice.]
Would you ever hurt someone if you thought it would protect them?

if you do it for a reward or out of revenge then it isnt justice
justice is bigger than that
probably
knock someone out so they cant get hurt worse
id probably do that

I don't like the idea of knocking people out, but I guess if it means they'd be better off after... I bet they'd be really mad though, huh? Cause you didn't trust them enough not to get hurt.
["They" in this case is specifically "Scott Summers."]

if you do something wrong, you get punished
but good is rewarded
justice is a world where kids can grow up without being afraid
where people help each other
where no one has to go hungry
[that... seems more important than the second part. she'll just come back to that later.]
persona 3 spoilers if anyone cares lol
[She's not even necessarily thinking about herself and Scott right now, but Ken and Shinjiro; how Shinjiro had torn himself up and ultimately sacrificed himself for accidentally losing control of his Persona and killing an innocent woman.]
Is intent factored into your idea of justice?

And then there's herself. She only ever intended to make the world better. But the truth of what she did is...]
depends
noble intentions can still make you do horrible shit
no matter how good your intentions were
if you still hurt others you have to be punished for it
even if its an accident
its different but not meaning to hurt someone doesnt make them not hurt
