It seems that we have new arrivals here once more! Welcome, everyone. I'm Ethlyn.
Since many of us have martial skills, the locals often hire us to hunt dangerous beasts outside of town, and in March we had to go on a lengthy expedition through the forest... suffice it to say, as peaceful as Aldrip itself is, there are dangers around it if you aren't careful. And while I'm sure that appeals to an adventurous spirit in some of you, I'm going to advise you all to be cautious and prepare well if you make an expedition outside of town.
Which brings me to the Arztenritter. Think of us as a band of knights--except instead of bringing a sword or a lance, we bring first aid. Right now, the Arztenritter is me, Marianne, Rinoa, Młynar, Noel, and Astralin. If you find yourself in a pickle, call one of us and we'll ride out to help!
And, if you have any interest in healing and horseback riding, tell me! I'm always happy to add more people to our ranks.

[ It's him. He's the danger. ]
You find anyone else looking to take their chances at sea rather than riding horseback through a forest, you send them my way, hm?
video
Were you a merchantman in your previous life, or a man of the navy?
video
Pirate. 'Least I was a pirate before coming to this place. Hard to plunder the open seas without a ship and crew, y'see.
video
Did you do anything like that?
video
Well, wouldn't be much of a pirate if I stole from the poor. Would have to steal from a whole village of poor houses just to match one merchant ship, and at that point, you might as well just call me The Government.
[ badum-shh. He could leave it at that, but she's caught his interest— ]
This duke's daughter... Is she here-abouts?
video
Unfortunately, she's not--I wouldn't mind seeing her again, but no-one from my home is here. If you meet a lady with an incomparable bow-arm named Brigid, though, then you'll have met her.
video
Brigid, you said... I'll keep a weather eye.
[ Although when she mentions being alone, the irony's too much to ignore. ]
So this pirate friend of yours has been left behind, while the doctor-type's been brought to task? Strange idea of criminal behavior these ones have.
video
[If only so she can ask them what happened.]
It is a little strange, now that you mention it. [She grins wryly.] I already thought that our mysterious accusers don't know what they're talking about. They really don't seem to have their facts straight.
video
Hm... Is that right?
[ And back to the first thing, briefly, just since he won't know anyone she's looking for beyond Brigid without knowing: ]
What homeland is that?
video
It's a continent called Jugdral. I think by the standards of most people here, it would seem like something out of history... it's a land of kings, mages, knights, and castles, but it was home to me.
video
As for Jugdral... Yeah that's an entire continent he's never heard of, past or present. She does sound more likely from his own world's past than its future by what she says, though. ]
Yeah man, time's all fucky around this place, seems like. Didn't have these... microwaves or— or phone devices where and when I'm from. Still doesn't feel real, if I'm honest.
Re: video
Medieval soldiers don't have pretty language either.] I'm glad to meet someone who doesn't treat all of this as a downgrade from what they're accustomed to. I'm still not entirely sure it isn't all some form of very, very advanced wizardry.video
If it really is a wizard's work, that'd be a first for me. Though, guess I'd prefer that to an invisible god tugging on all our strings.

Anyway Ethlyn, you find yourself needing a ship's captain, or another person who doesn't know what the fuck is going on in this place, you know where to find me. In our heads. Or ears. However this medallion thingy works.
