Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on March 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:

- What is the maximum amount of sheep you have counted when trying to fall asleep?
- what is the real you?
- will you still love someone if they're no longer themselves?
- what is a wish
- what are you prepared to do to have your wish fulfilled? would you die for it? kill for it?
- what kind of world do you wish for?
- are all wishes equal?
- does everyone deserve to have their wish come true?
- do you think your wish is more important than the wishes of others?
- will your wish coming true make you truly happy?

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

Who's the real me, huh? I guess that's the perfect opening to come clean. I'm sorry for anyone I tricked with my image inducer, but this is what I really look like. And who I really am! That's right - I'm blue. Da ba dee da ba di! And I have a tail, too. It's all part of my mutation! I've got kind of a devilish look to me, but I swear, I'm still on the side of the angels!

Yeah, that's what I've noticed. I barely get any kind of reaction around here as the fuzzy man, good or bad! I guess that's the way it should be. I just didn't think piling on the weirdness would be the solution! LOL!

So it was an illusion rather than some sort of physical change?

[Altius didn't have a clue. He's just been kind of rolling with "it's probably magic" to explain most of of the strangeness he's seen.]

Right. It's all a hologram. I have this funky watch called an image inducer. It can make these hologram disguises to make you look different. Back home, I needed it to use it to attend high school and go around in public without getting unwanted attention.

Fascinating. I suppose it's not a well-known technology? I can't even imagine how something like that works.

Yeah it's a special technology that the professor made with his resources. Definitely not something you can buy anywhere! As far as I know, mine are the only ones he's made. And I'm definitely not the guy to ask about the science of it all. All that stuff just goes over my head!

I'm glad to hear you don't feel the need to use it, though. It must be freeing, feeling like you can show your true self without fear of judgment.

I guess so. I mean, I definitely feel honored that the Professor went through the trouble to make something like this to give to me! If he wanted, I bet he could make a fortune in the video game biz! lol!

Thanks, Altius. It's a little scary, but at least the people here seem more receptive to who I really am than the people back home. So really, it does feel freeing. I can just walk around as myself and by myself. Just me! No more disguises!

There's nothing to revert to. I am a human mutant, but this is how I've always looked and always will look. I can only look like a normal human with disguises like my image inducer.

I see. I know enough about farm life to get where you're getting at! I don't have a metaphor of my own, but mutants back home are a bit more plentiful. We didn't become public until just like a year ago though, so the world's still getting used to us being around.

Feel free to share whatever you want! I know now that it can feel liberating.
