Whoa, this thing is weird, but I guess I'll give it a shot.

[Rin brushes back some of her hair in an attempt to look presentable to those who could see her. Although, she was unsure about the trinket in her hand, she tries her best to attempt to communicate to those who were here. Maybe she would see the people that she met along the way? Either way, right now, she's settled nicely in one of the inn rooms, with her usual, friendly smile.]

Hi all! My name is Rin. I'll keep this short -- but if you guys are interested in a sparring partner, let me know! I probably shouldn't spill my secrets so openly, but I work for a rebel group back home and used to train people during the war. I have experience with training, so if you need that, I'm open to it! As for sparring; I use my katana. There's some lightning magic that I use with my katana, but to keep the fight fair, I can, you know, not use that.

If anyone is interested, please get back to me!

[There's a pause, and a friendly hum.]

Oh yeah, if you want a meal, feel free to stop by my room at the inn.

[Between Squall, Quistis, and... honestly everyone? She's gotten an earful or five about how the Owls operate.]

It's called a Blaster's Edge. It's... kind of like if you crossed a boomerang and a crossbow?

[It's hard to explain, and even when she moves the viewport to show where she's stored hers isn't likely to help, because of the complicated design with all the wings and stuff. But Rinoa's got first hand experience about just how sharp the edges are and how well thee wings can tear into things. Eesh.]

I doubt I'd be very good at it, but I guess learning the basics couldn't hurt.

[Zell's tried to show her a few things, but... well, Zell's not always the best teacher. Parsing his instructions of "you've gotta go BAP and then you BAM" way of explaining had proven to be a challenge.]

I'd like to see your weapon in person sometime... It sounds interesting. I don't think I've ever met someone that uses that sort of weapon back home.

[She does see the intricacies of the weapon, and seeing how sharp those blades are... That can pack a nice punch, Rin notes. Her eyes fixated on those blades and how they're shaped like wings. An interesting sort of weapon that gathers her attention, before shifting elsewhere.]

Fist fighting isn't too hard, my dear. In fact, it was one of the first things that I learned. If I can learn if, you can learn it too! Especially if I'm teaching you. I do like to keep things as simple as possible.

[Rin liked to make things easy, especially for her own sanity.]

We'll just have to come up with a time and place!

Of course! I remember being really confused by this type of weapon when I first saw one. They're not exactly common where I'm from too.

[It helps that she's currently carrying around the most advanced design they'd been able to find. If she'd had her basic Pinwheel model it probably wouldn't have been anywhere near as confusing.]

Well, when you put it like that... how can I do anything but believe you?

[Easily, but it's called being polite. No reason to cast any doubt on someone who's trying to help!]

Time shouldn't be too hard, but finding a good place might be harder since we don't know the area very well yet.

It looks really sharp... Like you can really mangle someone with that thing. All the more reason I want to take a look at it, to be honest with you.

[She pauses again, and hums in response to that. She's right, they didn't know the area too well. But, if one thing was certain, she did remember that field that they popped up in. Surely there was enough space to conduct their business there.]

We could always meet up in that field we popped up in. Sure, there's a ton of vegetables, and plants, and flowers around but we can make it work. We don't have to spar, we can just meet up for a friendly chat! Rebel to rebel!

Yeah, it's... not exactly pretty when it's in use. But I'm more than happy to show you. Practice or in action.

[But she's more or less gotten over that fact. She's had to. But cleaning it wasn't exactly the most fun, it could get gunk in the weirdest places. If she's not careful, it really stinks! Gross!]

That'd totally work! [Surprisingly, Rinoa's been to a few places, but never gone back to that one specific place since. Has avoided it and she's not even sure why. Which is why she's agreeing to meet up there.] There's enough local beasties around there's probably something I could use as demonstration target. While we talk.

[The locals always appreciate learning there's less monster type beasts around after all. So it makes sense.]

I haven't seen any of the local beasts yet, but if we can hunt some down together, I think that'd be just lovely!

[Just two gals killing monsters... This could be a fun adventure, and it reminds of her home. That, and Rinoa seemed friendly enough, so the two would most likely get on quite well. It makes her excited, to know that she'll be making a new friend, while getting to see a new fighting style, on top of fighting monsters.]

I wonder if there's a board or something around here where we could make extra cash if we do kill the beasts... Could use a bit of extra, um. Gold? Not sure what kind of currency they use here.

They aren't so bad. Definitely nothing we can't handle.

[After all, she can handle them solo. So together? Absolutely a piece of cake. Not that monster hunting is necessarily her idea of a good time, but she's done it enough that she's accepted it as a Part of Life.]

I think some of the shopkeepers offer compensation. I don't know if there's a board or not. There should be!

Monsters are kind of weird back in my world. They're weirdly docile, so there isn't much monster hunting to do back in my world. In fact, a lot of people keep them as pets...

[The fact that she'll be hunting down beasts will be a weird thing to her, but she'll just. Imagine that they're bad people or something. To feel less bad!]

We'll take a look when we meet up. Which... When do you want to meet up, dear?

It does sound kind of weird, but in a nice kind of way. A nice weird!

[Don't worry, Rinoa won't accept anything for the nice beasties. Just the ones prone to attacking and being mean. That means there's much less reason to feel bad about it.]

Hm... I don't really have anything planned. So I guess I'm free whenever?

Let's do this song and dance the day after tomorrow then! I need to find a smithy to sharpen my blade before we do any slaying of sort. That, and I kind of want to see the fashion here! If I'm gonna get dirty, I'm gonna need some sort of spare clothing.

[Rin's come here with a very important dress that she doesn't want to get dirty!!]

You wouldn't happen to be interested in going clothes shopping with me, would you?

Day after tomorrow it is then!

[At the mention of shopping, her eyes brighten.]

You know.... you might have a point. I should get some new clothes too.

[Also she's been wearing this same outfit for way, way too long honestly.]

I would totally be interested in going clothes shopping with you.

Okay! It's a date then! I need to stop by and look for some fabric so I can make some new clothes for myself, too. If you need anything made, I'm your gal!

[Rin has noted that Rinoa was very beautiful, so she wouldn't mind dressing her up at all.]

[The comment catches Rinoa by surprise and it shows on her face, doing almost a double take at the suggestion.]

Make clothes? You don't mean... to just buy them? You're going to make them.

[Rinoa's never had anything but off the rack clothing, despite being somewhat of a stereotypical Rich Girl type to some.]

That's right! Honestly, I'm pretty particular about my clothes, so I tend to just make it. You'll notice that I like to wear skin tight clothing because of my fighting style... It's easy to move in and all. I could always make something for you too, if you'd like!

[The more the merrier, to be honest, and Rin doesn't mind keeping herself distracted while she's here.]

I mean if it's not going to be a problem then sure! Who wouldn't want to wear something made just for them? That'd be so cool!

[Rinoa's more than happy to accept. Who wouldn't in her situation?]

And then, if anyone asks about my clothes I can tell them you made them.

[Maybe they haven't been here that long, but it's long enough that Rinoa can tell this is a very marketable skill to have all things considered.]
