I had a strange dream last night I was standing on trial for trying to kidnap someone. My reasons for doing so was because I deemed that someone dangerous to a person close to me. Am I really in the wrong for attempting to do such an action? I need some consultation here.

I'm part of the mafia, so I was already aware my crime is against the law, so I understand the weight of it. But I can't honestly say I feel remorse for this, because the feeling of wanting to kill him weighs heavier to me as long as I see him as a threat.

Understanding that what you are doing is against the rules and why aren't quite the same thing, but that's just the teacher in me speaking. Am I right to assume that the threat he posed outweighs the crime you'd commit in order to 'deal' with him, in your opinion?
