I had a strange dream last night I was standing on trial for trying to kidnap someone. My reasons for doing so was because I deemed that someone dangerous to a person close to me. Am I really in the wrong for attempting to do such an action? I need some consultation here.

((ooc: this is for atsushi's sentencing !))

I have not heard of abducting someone for that purpose before. Gaining something for freeing them is the typical goal.

I don't believe it is unusual to feel the need to go to any length if you care about a person, however. There may not be a right or a wrong answer in those cases.

That is a more usual response to such a situation, yes. And I assume no one else may act on your behalf?

Oh, this was a dury assigned to you? Then it's generally best to see your orders through and not concern yourself with outside judgment; at least from my own experience.

So, they are preventing you from doing your job while seeking to punish you for trying to do it but ultimately not succeeding? That does not make sense.

If they hold the power, though, whether or not you are right would not matter if they believe you are wrong.

I see. That is a valid concern.

You mean they are requiring you to feel a certain way? I've found that emotions are not easy to control unless you aren't allowed to feel them. It sounds as though they have purposely given you something impossible to do.
