Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on January 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:

- What is the maximum amount of sheep you have counted when trying to fall asleep?
- Is it harder to forgive yourself, or to forgive others?
- How strongly do you feel that the past defines a person?
- What is your dream?
- Why would an android's dream contain electric sheep? Are they particularly drawn to livestock animals?
- If you could return to one specific moment in your life, would you?
- How do you wake up from a dream?
- Please
- Wake up
- You must wake up

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

Yes, I have! And they do exist but it's not in the form that most humans are used to.

If you ask Yusuke, I'm sure he has seen one before!

Not really a regular bird but it's a big one! And it's blue! He can be really cute sometimes too.

Hopefully Yusuke can show you him sometime, I think he's really amazing.

i never encountered an actual phoenix back home.

there are stories and they're not too far off to the phoenix i've been dealing with here. fiery, a bird, although the ones in the myths usually have to do more with rebirth and everything.

haven't really... seen much of that from her in aldrip.

But I have to admit, after being here for quite a while, I wonder how long we'll be here.

unless you're talking about the simulation itself... when everything stops. in that case, no idea. but we just have to keep living each day.

I just hope that it will get better.

In the meantime, all I can really do is just hope. Which I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Puu is Yusuke's Spirit Beast.

[He's helping, and also apparently far less concerned with whether or not Yusuke cares that Scott knows this than Yukina is.]

He is rather large though, I believe it would be a little difficult for him to hide if he were here.

so puu is always separate from yusuke, huh? he doesn't reside back in him after eating some crackers.

i guess both you and yukina mentioned that he is big anyway. how big are we talking?

Puu hatched from an egg, as far as I'm aware he's never been inside of Yusuke. He started fairly small, but he is now large enough to easily carry all of us on his back.

i mean. i guess most birds hatch from an egg.

but shit, really? that's huge. he would be really hard to miss around here.

although... you're saying that it's definitely possible that phoenix might end up the same way? she can keep growing and getting stronger. spirit beast and cosmic space force sounds like the same level of bizarre.

Technically, Puu is only a bird by chance. A Spirit Beast reflects the one whose spirit energy feeds them. No one knew what Yusuke's would appear as until after it hatched. Though, a Phoenix is appropriate, in hindsight. Unfortunately, I can not speak on your particular situation. As Puu is essentially an embodiment of Yusuke, when Yusuke's power increased so did Puu. That may be true of your situation, but it also may not.

Has anything like this happened to others from your world? That would likely be the best place to start for information.

i don't think phoenix is connected to my optic blasts at least. so don't have to worry about my powers affecting her.

maybe that's the main difference between phoenix and puu. she's really not an embodiment of me. i'm not even supposed to be her host or whatever. not really. she's normally in jean from what the other mutants tell me, sometimes quentin.

Precisely. If she is typically hosted by others, I don't suppose any of them are here to share their experiences with you? I imagine you would have simply asked them directly by now.

i asked quentin before and got a sort of vague answer.

pretty much 'that's really cool, but kind of sucks.' and only worry if i start having thoughts about remaking the world or burning it down.

is that a normal side effect for the host?
