[ rafal turns on the feed, looking deeply irritated. so really, no different from his usual expression. ]
It appears I have been sentenced for destroying a person's door. Which, in my defense, was entirely deserved due to their appalling lack of manners and generousity.
[ and they denied him his candy. rude. ]
And as such I have been tasked with . . . bonds. Specifically the strengthening of them, physically, or creating new bonds.
What does this entail? I require clarification. I wish to get this over with.

Exactly. And some feelings do not come as easily to me as they do with others.

[ Some people might say the opposite, and Ange knows it. But from her own perspective, and perhaps partially because of their shared fate in this sense, she can't help but view it this way.
After all-- ]
Emotions can be so bothersome most of the time. They really get in the way.

In the way of what?
no subject
[ Granted, she doesn't know if he's ever felt that way, considering he's a dragon and all, but-- who knows. And otherwise she's just highlighting the human perspective here.
Because being a human sucks. ]

But human emotion is powerful. It can do more than you realize.

Ange thinks about all of this, the bridge of her nose wrinkling a little. ]
What do you mean? Have you ever seen something happen because of human emotion?
no subject
My power is to revive the dead. Some remain mindless. Empty. But if you hold onto your feelings . . . they will come through.
Human emotion decides fate. Ends wars. Forges peace. It changes the land as we know it.

[ And as far as Ange is concerned, that's all that matters. Not for the entire world - she's not that selfish - but at least for herself.
If she can just do that one thing, then nothing else would matter for her anymore. ]
That's why it's useless for me.
no subject
Have it never helped with anything?
no subject
Not for me.
[ She at least won't claim to speak for anyone else, considering other people have wildly different experiences from her.. If this place has proven anything to Ange, it's that fact. ]
Is that so strange?
no subject
Emotion is a core part of human nature. They cannot survive without it.
[ oh, he's ripped it from enough dead bodies and husks but that was the point. without it, they're just . . . empty. ]
no subject
[ Ange doesn't even sound sad about that. Just-- resigned, really. It wouldn't be the first time she's called strange, and in this context, it's incredibly more mild than the cases of it she had to endure back home. ]
I've never been normal in the first place, anyway.
no subject
Though normal seems . . . strange in itself. I do not know what is considered normal for humans.
Emotion is important. That much I know from my own experiences.
