i dont know if ure here. i mean, ive looked through this a million times and i cant tell what kind of username u'd make for urself. i thought maybe scuttle butt, but. i dont see it.

if u want to try writing to me, there should be a keyboard that will pop up for u and itll show u the alphabet. the letters are not going to be in order, but thats ok. its supposed to look like that.

then u press whatever letter u want. start something short. like "hi". then press that little arrow besides the smiley face. or u can use that smiley face button and send one to me if thats easier. think of it like its an arcade game. i know it looks intimidating at first, but ure smart. i know u'll figure it out.

shes a little a monster. very brave and not afraid to throw herself into battle, no matter how dangerous it is or whoever she goes up against is seven feet tall. and boy, is she a biter. she knows how to handle my explosives well.

and like ive said, she doesnt speak, and she REALLY hates the sound of her own voice.

but i like it fine. she always thought i was just being nice, but. i did mean it.

anyway, she uses sign language to communicate, or she points at things if she really needs something. her favorite animal are rabbits, and she would wear those silly little ears every day. then she'd try to sneak up behind me to scare me whenever im working. juuuust to get my attention. sometimes i pretend to get scared just to make her smile.

she *hates* vegetables so much. but if she sees me eat it, she'll eat it, too. so thanks to that, my eating habits got better. i ate more because i wanted her to eat more. sevika and i tried to keep her on a routine. make sure she goes to bed on time, keep up with her hygiene. i'd read to her too, she's big into adventure stories. stuff about pirates and junk. and she would pout at me if i dont give every single character a funny voice.

oh! and we would have beetle battles. scuttle butt was hers. she won our last round, and i had to dye her hair and braided it like mine. ... i just realized i never did paint her nails. heh, guess our talk back then distracted me. she's part of the reason why i decided to become a symbol, became that big hero she always saw me as. guess i couldn't blame her, i saved her from one of your chem-baron's goons. i think they wanted to sell her or something. who knows.

[He read over the words three times, picking out details before he turned his attention to the little figurine that had arrived before Jinx had. He picked it up and examined it, noting it matched the description that was in writing.

She talked like someone who was very proud of a child's accomplishments. He knew what that was like, and perhaps all of this should move him. Such soft sedimentality was more at home with Vander who had loved babies and children. For him, children were only so worthwhile as their usefulness. Vander would have been tickled and giddy with the prospect of a little girl.

Silco read the words again, and he felt a small stir. Jinx is happiness was shining through.

Isha, hmm?]

You are very fond of this child. There is a little figurine of this child here at home, I believe. I will keep it safe until you can claim it.

hey, silco? i know this... might be *way* too late for me to say this. but. i just want to say that... i get it now. the whole parent thing. i mean, isha sorta jumped from being my daughter, to my best friend, to my little sister a lot, but. its all the same.

but now i understand how tough it is to really *REALLY* try and do ur best and do the right thing all the time. and being afraid of screwing things up with them, or they get upset with u because what u think what ure doing is for their best interest, but they dont see it that way...

i just want to say that im sorry for giving u such a hard time back then, even with the... recent stuff. before i left. i know u love me a lot, and everything uve been doing *is* because u love me. and i want to say... thank u for loving me, and ive missed u so much. and i cant wait to come back and see u.

yea, and i know that's not easy. juggling priorities and making sure one doesn't get jealous of the other. but now i know, just because there are others u care about, doesnt mean u love any of them any less. theyre all important.
