(some of us love our vlogging, our youtubeing, tik-toking-- and since here it's a known fact that peter parker happens to be spider-man, well, that means he gets to turn his tablet on while he swings through the winter wonderland that aldrip has come. whoever is watching gets a very nice view of aldrip from the tallest buildings, the snow twinkling and sparkling beneath him as he goes from building to building until he stops at the tallest one.

the camera pans and switches to his face, hair a mess of curls from all the wind that it faced and he smiles. it feels good to smile.)

So, I heard this thing, right -- this guy from the pizza shop told me, I don't know if he's lying or what, but apparently? Apparently, there's this superstition that we aren't supposed to leave our home during the solstice or something? But I'm curious - did someone go out last year? Did something happen? And if we go out... Well, actually, who's going out, first of all?

(the camera switches again, so he can film the skating ring from above-- someone just fell on their ass, and he sucks teeth because that must have hurt.)

Ooooh, ouch. Well, wear a helmet, don't get sick, invite me if you have eggnog! Friendly neighborhood Spider-man, out!

Yeah, maybe don't do that. Swinging with soup sounds like a terrible idea. [She'd still laugh her ass off at him, at the aftermath, but she knows it wouldn't be good.]

Maybe that's a "walk it home" kind of meal. Or I could just meet you there later, and we eat it there?

[He would be curious. It's okay, she's been entertained too.]

This one kid has practically built himself a fort. He's taking on like three kids twice his size. It's pretty impressive.

Yeah, let's not. [Even though she would happily give him lots of Feel Better kisses to any boo-boos he obtained.]

Oh, of course not. I have one in my bag. [With the rest of her change of clothes, for instances just like this. You never knew when you were emergently need to change from the suit to street clothes and vice versa!]

Yeah, it's be great. Almost reminds me of home. It was always fun watching the kids at Central Park, this time of the year. [Bryant Park was closer to home, but the size of Central Park always made it better.]

Of course I do.

[She saw he forgot it, so what kind of girlfriend would she be if she didn't grab it too?]

For one, it's not nearly as fun when you have to hold back your strength, and two.. I might've burnt the few bridges I had left, after going to Miles' dimension. MJ and our band were the only friends I sort of still had left, and...I quit. I've only even been home once in the last... year or so?

(it's always so damn weird to hear her talk about mj now, but he's getting... slowly used to it.)

... Yeah, that'll do it. And, uh... They might hold a grudge, but nothing you can't really apologize for.
