OKCINDR POST #4
Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?
With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.
So, on November 3rd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:
This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:
Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:
If you'd like to for shits and giggles, here's some notifications that may be used:

Name (@username) followed you

Name (@username) unfollowed you

Name (@username) blocked you

OKCINDR PROFILE RESET #4
PLEASE RESET PROFILE
This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of questions to answer:
What is forgiveness?
Can a criminal ever really be forgiven?
should you be forgiven?
Is a crime ever justified?
How do you justify your crime?
Can you forgive someone who's wronged you?

well, and occasionally pick up a newspaper. )
the thunderbolts were definitely in the news.
( on account of the 'villains attempting to reform and go good' deal, and the 'not sanctioned at all' deal, and the 'clint barton lied to everyone to make them seem legit' deal. )
you realize it paints a very un-pretty picture?
( does he know a morph? know of morph? he doesn't think so — but then, he's hardly the world's expert on the x-men. )
anyway, hi. I'd argue the circumstances could be better. ( but also, clint barton argues about everything. )

[That one's a real long story, and not something they're keen to explain to a stranger. Even a famous one.]
and yeah, the circumstances suck, but having an Avenger around might be a good thing for the rest of us. maybe your expertise can help us break out of here. no pressure, though.

( you know, before all the super fun stuff. coming back from dying, running round as ronin, having a minor breakdown, SKRULLS, actually officially getting divorced. he was almost well-adjusted during his thunderbolts era! )
unless we're from different enough earths where none of that happened.
( which is a solid enough possibility. )
aren't there like two dozen of you x-men here?
no subject
heheh, it's closer to half a dozen. and the mansion's here too, if you ever wanna use our Danger Room for training. we're leaving it open for the Chosen to use.
lol comics years sighs at sliding timescale
but... yeah. it's pretty firmly past 97 for me.
( the danger room's a nice offer, one that clint will probably take morph up on in the future, but for now he's not sure how he feels about being the only avenger here (does quentin count? not really), and he's not sure how he'd feel about hanging around in the x-mansion, not when he's used to an entirely different mansion. )
really not thrilled with being called 'chosen'.
the eternal problem with comics tbh
that's just the lingo here. I'm not too sure if we were singled out on purpose, but being called 'Chosen' sure makes it sound that way. isn't it nice to feel wanted?

makes me feel a whole lot less wanted and special when it's a term I share with like fifty other people.
