ok i don't really know shit about computers but here's the thing
i knew a guy whose powers were turning chunks of reality INTO a simulation and anything that happened in there applied to real life
so if we break it we COULD get out but it could also mean we all just die right then even if we were never really here in the first place

If this world is truly akin to the territory of a psychic, it is far more advanced and complicated than anything we have seen before. Even Itsuki could not control the tunnel after a point, I am afraid we may be dealing with something similar here, in that the one in control has lost that control or simply abandoned it to run itself.
