If I may: what are some activities that those ages 14-18 enjoy engaging in here?
If you're in that age range, or have been in the past, what was a typical day like at home for you at that time?

Are you employed here? If so, what is it you do? Does it align with your skills and interests? Did you have any experience when you began it?

I've never been in one before, so it was admittedly a little shocking at first. [ he'd had books as part of his education, but the professor had always been choosy about what he'd allowed him to read, and his little room in the labs could only hold so many, anyway. ]

I've met him, I think. He seems nice.

really? back where i come from i think they're only in schools.

[Well that's the only place he's noticed them.]

but its nice to have one anyone can use.

I suppose that's sensible. If one would want them anywhere, it would be in a place of learning.

What do you usually read? [ maybe he'll get some ideas. ]

fiction. i like horror but i'm looking into a few other genres lately. fantasy is kind of fun, but some of the things in sci fi and fantasy books are things that are real for people here and that's sort of weird if you think about it.

Oh. Are they? How so?

well, i read a fantasy story with elves and magic, but a lot of people can do magic here. or the story about robots and i met one here. in the books its special but here they're just normal people.

Oh. Yes, magic is common enough where I'm from. It comes from materia. I've never heard of an elf before, though.

i don't think so, i think they're just another race of people that look a lot like humans.

[It was a bit of an easier concept for Levi to grasp since furries existed in his world. Even if he'd only ever met the one that tried to kill him.]
