[Kotone has never really been one to like... start things. Mostly people told her to join other things, or she followed her friends with their interests. But here, it seems like people are just kind of left to their own devices, so a few days after the return to the forest and the fruitless search for the missing, she's getting antsy. She needs something to do and doesn't really know where to start. So-]
Hello! Um, my name is Kotone Shiomi. I was wondering if anyone was starting up any clubs or anything in town! You know, a group of people with similar hobbies or interests, like a sports club, or a book club, or a gardening club...
One of my friends at school started a sewing club. I think I might do something like that, if anybody is interested! Or somebody, [Shinji,] could make a cooking club and give lessons, stuff like that.
[She holds up one finger as if struck by a sudden idea.]
Oh, maybe if we can get a list of everybody's hobbies, we can figure out what kinds of clubs to make? I just think it's important to have something fun to do with everyone, instead of just always worrying about the weird stuff that's going on. So... tell me about what you like to do!

[Yeah, she doesn't see a reason to start school again. If people want to teach her things, she's happy to learn! But she spent a lot of her time in class sleeping, and she can do that perfectly well in her room.
She hums and nods. Yeah, fair enough.]
That would be most people, I think. What kind of activities would you do?

[It's a vague answer that doesn't really give any information about himself, but that's by design.]
Why are you asking? You don't think a sewing club will keep you busy enough?

[She gives him a knowing smile. Ever since Dazai pointed out that it's something she does herself, she's gotten better at recognizing when others dodge questions they don't want to answer. Well, she won't pry for now, anyway!
Instead, she just shrugs.]
I'm used to having a pretty full schedule, so probably not! I'm really just looking for more ideas or more things to learn, really.

"It seems you're very interested in others, but on the other hand, it's difficult for others to get a sense of who you are." Just an offhand remark? Worse than that, a declaration from someone with suspicions about Ritsu's motives? No. It could never be something so innocent — not when paired with a smile like that. Not when followed by the words, "Well, it's not a bad thing. Showing one's hand is a foolish thing to do, after all."
He casts aside the train of thought. It's a ridiculous association to make; this girl is likely just someone who's slightly more perceptive and socially tactful than most.]
Have you found any?

Well, I think I can convince [bully] Aragaki-senpai to start a cooking club once we're sure the food problems are resolved... Akechi-san mentioned a book club, somebody else mentioned a magic club, [she sounds a little doubtful at the idea of a magic club, but like, some people do sure have some unexplained powers so, why not.]
Another guy seemed really interested in martial arts! So yeah, maybe a few!

Some of these sound like they have the potential to be dangerous.
[Even cooking, he's learned, can go horribly awry. On the one hand, a cooking club would give their most disastrous cooks the chance to learn how to cook a little less disastrously. On the other, who's to say that won't be after they've been given the chance to cause multiple more disasters?]

[She frowns, but doesn't look too concerned otherwise. She has firsthand experience with how disastrous cooking club can be (thanks, Fuuka), and she supposes that martial arts club or magic club (maybe??) has the potential to get someone hurt, but...]
Not overly dangerous, I don't think. I think one of the important things is making sure that there's at least one person who knows what they're doing when they start a club, you know? To make sure nobody gets hurt.
