Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on July 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of their choice of questions to answer:

- what is your favorite color, and why?
- describe your ideal date
- what's your favorite food, and are you able to cook it yourself?
- tell us about your very favorite hobby
- do you fear death?
- do you wake in the morning staring into the abyss, wondering if it stares back?
- what constitutes "life"? are you "alive?" how do you know if you are "living?"
- if you could be any animal, what would it be, and why?
- tell your favorite joke

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

I use it because it is the easiest shorthand, but I could not agree more that it is absurd. What have we been "chosen" to do? They allow us to think we have the freedom to decide what happens to us next, but what privilege were we really given? The privilege to skitter around in confusion like rats in a glorified maze?

Manipulation at its most useless, if you ask me.

But the folks seem to really enjoy this place... I would have reckon they would be just as ticked as us.

You mean the locals? Or have you also run into the people setting up shop like this is their new normal?

A little of both. The locals, mainly.

They are not bound by the same rules as us. But even if they were, I don't know if they have the capacity to do something like riot. Have you talked with many of them?

Not many. Most were too busy pickin up their jaws over my powers.

Makes sense then. Eventually, you'll see it for yourself. They aren't like the rest of us. I'm not sure they're even real people. More like programs, or figments of this place. So it's only natural that they'd enjoy it. They don't have thoughts of their own.
