OKCINDR POST #2
Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?
With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.
So, on July 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:
This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of their choice of questions to answer:
Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

Just before I came here I was finishing up a series of streams about ghosts with my friends. Those were crazy fun. We got tips sent to us, went out, investigated whatever was going on, made up a story, and published it! People LOVE it. We got so many stories sent to us!

We were trying to track down these things called heliobus? I think I spelled that right. They're these glowing things which look like ghosts, and kinda act like ghosts, but they're not ghosts. If one ever shows up I'll show you what they look like.
Anyway, we were doing it for the Ten-Lords Commission, and for various reasons we couldn't just SAY a bunch of heliobus got out. So we just acted like we were paranormal investigators. It was my idea. If they look like ghosts and act like ghosts, then people into ghosts would post sightings of them thinking they were ghosts.
So we got tips, and once we found one we captured it and then posted on social media about how we found some ghost. "BOMBSHELL! Unmasking the identity of the ghost twin!" And it's actually a heliobus pretending to be someone else. But they didn't need to know that. They got a story, we got clicks, and the government got the job done: everybody wins.

He turned out to be a pretty good guy but I can't imagine something like that happening to me. My arm or leg gets possessed, sealed off, I get along with the thing inside of it, but it takes my arm or leg and I'm left with nothing there.
But...
Isn't everywhere kind of dangerous if you think about it? Or is this place especially dangerous? I'm trying to figure out where Aldrip falls on the danger scale.

depends on where you're from, i guess. like i don't have energy guys trying to possess me back home. there was a threat of dangerous robots and a terrorist about ten years ago, but things have been quiet since then.

Convenient you've got something that helps with the 'blasting everything you look at' problem. Sounds like it's rough if anything ever happens to your glasses but I'm sure you know what to do about situations like that.
