Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on July 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of their choice of questions to answer:

- what is your favorite color, and why?
- describe your ideal date
- what's your favorite food, and are you able to cook it yourself?
- tell us about your very favorite hobby
- do you fear death?
- do you wake in the morning staring into the abyss, wondering if it stares back?
- what constitutes "life"? are you "alive?" how do you know if you are "living?"
- if you could be any animal, what would it be, and why?
- tell your favorite joke

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

Probably blue. A deep blue, or even a slightly violet shade to be specific.

Something both people can enjoy. Basing it around a common hobby or interest would be ideal. But the traditional stuff can be fun, like sharing a meal, or going on a picnic.
- what's your favorite food, and are you able to cook it yourself?
I'm pretty partial to my eggs and chips recipe. It was a best seller for a reason.
- tell us about your very favorite hobby
I started training in martial arts as a hobby, sort of. Although my skills have become more of a necessity these days. But I still enjoy training a lot.

That's...certainly a question. Don't most people?

There's a superior app idea. Picture exchange of pets and other animals. I'd sign up immediately.

Mostly I try not to think about it.

I think that's why so many people are afraid of it.
Because it's inevitable.
But it can still be unexpected.

They're fascinating creatures.

Yes. They're pretty common where I'm from.
Their speed makes them a great mode of transportation, and they can cross most terrains.
I've been fortunate enough to befriend a couple of them back home.

I can see how they would make quite the reliable steeds with such strong legs.
We only had horses where I'm from, though...
The Faerghus horses were bred to be sturdy and stalwart like the knights who rode them into combat.

They sound really impressive.
Horses are extremely rare where I'm from.
I've never even seen one before.

So do you have chocobos where you're from, Tifa? I thought they were native to this world, I stumbled across a farm of them when I first arrived here outside the city limits.

[A red chocobo in particular really seemed to take a liking to him, Ekko surely going to pay them regular visits now and maybe even find a way to work with them if possible. It would be a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Aldrip's metropolis and the boy savior had never seen so much green in one place before in his entire life. It was peaceful unlike the constant struggles he endured back home in Zaun where every day could be your last.]

Yeah, they're fairly common on my planet. People raise them for racing, farming, or for transportation. They're very speedy and able to run across rough terrains that vehicles and motorbikes struggle with. And they're super cute.

Have you tried riding one yet? If not, I can give you some pointers.

[Her group has used Chocobos often as a form of transportation, and that's only made her fondness for them grow. They're generally affable creatures and easily lured with promises of food.]

Wait hold on you race on those things?! Someone I know from back home with one here told me you could ride on them but I never knew about that.

I mean if you're willing to teach me I'm definitely down to give it a shot, Tifa. Especially since I don't have my hoverboard to get around right now.

Yeah, it's a pretty big deal in some areas. A lot of riders race for the money prizes. And of course there's those who bet on the races and look to make a profit from that.

My friend Cloud participated in a race once. It was exciting to watch.

[Not that the Cloud here knows about that. Or the fact that it had been under duress and not for the cool experience.]

Consider me your instructor then. First we've tackled boats, now it's time for the Chocobos!

Not sure how I'd feel subjecting the Chocobos to that kind of treatment all for the sake of entertainment.

[Ekko would not want to see them harmed in anyway but so as long as it was all in good fun then perhaps there was no problem. A sincere smile of excitement graced his features as he types up the next bit of the message.]

You got it, teach. I can take you to the farm myself where they are located and introduce you to the red one that seemed to befriend me upon my arrival here in Aldrip. Here's hoping it won't be adverse to this opportunity.
