Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on July 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

This month, if players reset their profile, they will have a list of their choice of questions to answer:

- what is your favorite color, and why?
- describe your ideal date
- what's your favorite food, and are you able to cook it yourself?
- tell us about your very favorite hobby
- do you fear death?
- do you wake in the morning staring into the abyss, wondering if it stares back?
- what constitutes "life"? are you "alive?" how do you know if you are "living?"
- if you could be any animal, what would it be, and why?
- tell your favorite joke

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

Consider yourself lucky. Things got a lot weirder towards the top, as is typical with this place.

Kind of hard not to be, sharing quarters on a ship. He's one of my closest friends, I'd say.

I thought I'd met my fair share of species before coming to Aldrip, but this place has a way of surprising you. Are there aliens around, wherever you're from?

Yes, I would consider it one of the few comforts this place has to offer.

[ As much as he wishes Spock didn't have to deal with any of this, wishes he could spare him, Spock was here first, alone. Jim's glad he wasn't the first to arrive himself (he's not sure he would be so well-adjusted, 50 days in), and glad that he's here now to provide Spock company.

Depends on the kind of bug I guess? And whether or not it came from another planet.

I'm afraid I don't really have an exact comparison for them here... and they come in all different sorts and sizes! And you can make practically anything from them!

Haha, I think it's pretty normal sort of machines ... but maybe you wouldn't think so, now that I think about it!

The water is the most important thing though, so I'd say that is where most of the effort goes into. The small towns usually have to make do for others.

It really is! It feels like living in one of the big cities, almost!
