Looking to head back out into the forest to see if there's any trace of the people that went missing.

Figured it might be best to find someone, or someones, to come with me. Not looking to become one of the missing myself.

Sure. They've got blacksmiths here who'll make you something if you pay for it. A sword might be too big for you, though...

I'm really more of a metal rod / wooden bat sort of guy. You know, street weapons, stuff found in gutters and playing fields. But if there's a strong fellow like you willing to give me some tips, I'll get a sword just for that!

[Kazutora would pause a moment, tone dropping.]

Actually, I'm really adept with knives.. Maybe I could work with a dagger? That's like-- a chode sword, right?

( he's really trying hard not to laugh--it comes out as a wheeze of breath, clearing his throat. )

...Yeah. Right. We can get you a dagger. I actually wouldn't mind getting my hands on one either. Seems pretty useful.

I've fought with bats before too. Nails all embedded in. But I think in this place, a blade might be best.

Ooooh, yes, I LOVE the ones with nails embedded! Really helps get the gorging in. I bet with arms like yours you can knock a head right off!

[He clears his throat too, mindful that not everyone is as violent as he is, despite the months of therapy. Hey, it's a process, right?]

So, when are we meeting so you can help me pick out dinky sword?

( ...well, he's not as...open about it all like kazutora is, but knowing what he knows about him, it does make sense. and obviously he's not going to judge him for it: pot, kettle, and all that. )
