Ever wanted to have CR with a character and wasn't sure how to get them to cross paths? Wanted a dating app so you can hook up with hot people? Wanted to just find friends because you're a lonely bastard?

With the update of the tablets and the apps, we now have a dating / friendship app called OKCINDR! We're testing it out as a sticky post right after we process apps and newbies get oocly settled into the game. Players can use it as they please for the two months that it's up -- just imagine that they're profiles to swipe right on and everything. The idea is to encourage CR that may be difficult to get with characters who may or may not be interested in events / posts / logs / other network posts.

So, on May 2nd, characters randomly look back at their tablets to see the following:

Players, of course, are able to ignore this message. However, if a character wouldn't fill it out but a player would like to participate... the profile mysteriously resets itself. There may even be responses sent from Character A to Character B without Character A actually doing anything, if you'd like! This is a completely opt-in scenario! But for players who would like to participate fill out the post:

[It's hard not to immediately think of his own uncle, and how strange it is to now know he has one, that the one person he'd always been able to trust was of his blood, that he has family and at least one of them actually cares about him. But with that comes the reminder that Belias is not here. It's a sore point in any relief he might derive from the escapism of this place.]

That's certainly some impressive experience. And how did you become regent?

How fortunate for him to have someone so magnanimous by his side. Not all young or otherwise indisposed rulers are quite so lucky.

what kind of cruel monster would want to ill to his own family?

I know a king who obtained his throne by having all other possible heirs disposed of in one way or another. Many of them could have been called his family.

ah, such horrid tale. i have heard a few similar ones myself too. a king like that does not inspire trust in common people. not unless his cause was just.

Only if you consider his own self-gain to be "just".

what became of this king?

A vigilante recently went on a campaign exposing his misdeeds. Between the public pressure from that and a harrowing experience he had during an attempted naval attack on the demon kingdom, I imagine he'll be stepping down soon. I imagine his country will then face a crisis of succession, given he eliminated all other obvious heirs and had yet to produce one of his own.

so another false king was taken down. although, leaving him just to be might prove out to be fatal to his successor.

does your kingdom co-exist with demon one?

I wouldn't worry about his potential successor.

[Because Saralegui plans for it to be him, and he's perfectly confident in his ability to manage that shit.]

But yes, though a sea separates us. The demon king is a friend of mine, actually.
