So, an extremely uncharitable interpretation of something that happened back home. That sounds right. I haven't gotten anyone contacting me about it yet, but the accusation they'd written down for me was about the same. What a load of shit.

You are not the first to suggest it. I would agree, but the more I think about it, the more I must admit it is difficult to say how much personal autonomy is behind these decisions of theirs. Are they even people? Are they capable of thought? Or is their true identity simply that of a central hub of some artificial intelligence program?
