Afternoon everyone. This is Goro Akechi speaking.

We have come to find ourselves from a quite troubling situation. All thanks to acts of those from Rumpitur. I have heard the talk around the town about what should we do with them. Some of the people of Aldrip seem to be advocating for revenge, while others forgiveness.

Normally, I think the wisest choice of action would be leave the situation behind us and not to get involved in the politics of this world. But this is different. This wasn't a random attack or act of a beast, but carefully planned and intentional action against us. If we hadn't been successful in our rescue mission our numbers would have depleted no doubt. Who knows, the kidnappings could still be ongoing.

[He doesn't really care much for most of you. But this time they had hit where it hurt.]

What do you think, my fellow Chosen? Stay still and leave them be, potentially risking another attack. Or retaliate? Although, I believe it is important to remember that we still don't have all the details. Making this whole ordeal seem just more suspicious.

As for what I think? I believe something needs to pay for this.

this is a lot of questions for someone who hasn't told anything about themselves, ange-san.

[But the answer is good. It all made him feel good, even if for a brief moment.]

Do you want to know the same things about me? All you have to do is ask, you know. I figured you weren't interested.

For example, if you'd like the answer to the last question I asked..

One time it felt like the worst thing ever. The other time it felt like the best thing ever. It's that kind of thing.

[oh. well, that does answer to some of his questions. at this point akechi isn't really surprised to hear that someone has killed, considering what kind of place this is.]

what kind of people were your victims?

Always people I knew. Whenever people I didn't know died, they were just collateral damage.

[ Not exactly the nicest thing to say about actual human lives, but.. then again, they did try to kill her first, so that makes her feel a whole less bad about it. ]

One of them was my best friend. The other was my aunt.

[Well.. It's not like Akechi has any room to talk either. To him his victims were nothing but scum of the Earth. Nothing to feel bad about to regret.]

you did tell me about your difficult family situation back at home. i take that these actions were to protect yourself, correct?

Definitely in the case of my aunt. She was trying to kill me. She just didn't expect me to strike back.

.. the case of my friend is a little more complicated than that. But it's fine. We talked about it. I think we're cool now.

May I ask what is your preferred method of killing?

I think that in my case preferred would be kind of a weird word to use there. I'm more just about what's around to get the job done.

I've summoned demons before to get the job done, but one time when there was a gun around, I just used that instead.

[Well... That certainly is an information that's close to his own interest. There are so many things that one could mean by a demon after all.]

it's true that sometimes one might have to just use what they have at the hand each moment. but i find it preferable to be well-learned in different methods. it makes job easier.

what kind of demons are you talking about?

I'm not sure. It depends on what you're used to, I guess. What the difference in our definitions of 'demons' is.

You've ever seen a horror movie? Those kinds are the demons I'm talking about.
