I do not know if this has happened to anyone else, but... It seems as if the crime on my parchment has changed. Granted, the first crime was indeed false, but this one... This is a crime I am guilty of. How interesting. Has anyone else's crime changed, or is this the first occurrence?
[A pause.]
Ah, by the way. I recently built a hot spring on my land. Feel free to use it at any time, but please be respectful. There are snacks, drinks, and towels that will be provided upon entry. If you want to bring your own alcohol, I am okay with that.

Astralin. [..........hi,] I must urgently beg your advice and assistance on a number of matters.
[This is how you cash in on that offer for help, right? Help him.]
no subject
[It doesn't bug him that everything he's said has gone on deft ears. Yusuke is a bit different from others, that is to be sure.]
Please feel free to list off everything, and I will see what I can do.
no subject
Thank you. Your generosity is much appreciated, yet again. As for my urgent matters...
First: I have made plans with a new companion to pick flowers for decoration; may we avail ourselves of your fields? Peace, quiet, and solitude are a must, and yours is the place that comes to mind for such an an endeavor. To feed our dulled spirits with the vibrancy of fresh petals in the gentle breeze— exquisite!
[so like can he bring a friend over. pls.]
Second: what do lobsters eat?
no subject
[In true peepaw fashion, he is always trying to help out.]
Lobsters eat clams, crabs, mussels, sea urchin and small fish. Do... You have a pet lobster with you?
[Astralin is. Sweating over here, thinking about Yusuke and his pet lobster. Oh boy.]
no subject
[As for the other thing... the crustacean in the room...]
The lobster is living in the bathtub, at the moment.
no subject
[He just has a soft spot for kids it seems, having like 4 of his own and all. Buutttt moving onto the next thing. He didn't realize that people kept lobsters as pets, and he blinks a few times at the tablet in his hand.]
... I see. Why... Do we not visit a pet store and perhaps get an enclosure of sorts? I will pay for it.
no subject
[He certainly can't speak for his very shy new pal Beta, especially not before this flower excursion even happens, but he will come have snacks, sure. It will almost be like going to Leblanc, except- someone's house.
Close! Anyway.]
A tank? One suitable for a specimen like this may be quite large. Also, I didn't know there was a pet store.
no subject
[A pause. Well. It's kind of?? Like a pet store?? He isn't sure how to really explain it, and he pauses for a moment as he taps his finger against his lips.]
Well, if there is no tank that will fit then perhaps we could make an enclosure ourselves. It should not be too difficult. .... I think. Anyhow.
[HE WON'T GIVE UP ON THAT LOBSTER...]
Did... you name it?
no subject
[because why wouldn't he panic internally and drop a shellfish pun, anyway,]
I have not named it... Do you have suggestions? You name your animals at the farm, yes?
no subject
[He just goes with it. With the flattest tone on Expiation. He's never been good with expressing himself, but none the less, he smiles and chuckles at Yusuke. An amused expression soon appearing on him.]
Yes, they are named. Scramble, the big chicken you saw, was named by a fellow named Shinjiro. As for the other animals, the piglets are owned and named by Mizuki, while the animals I own are named after my children, and my loved ones. So... Perhaps someone you care about? Lobsters are long lived if you care for them -- they can live over 100 years old.
no subject
He'll think about it. As for the lobster, he blinks, then:]
Sayuri. I think I will call it Sayuri.
[Were he an ordinary kind of person he might find it kind of off or silly to pick something so important to him for a lobster of all things, but for the 100-year lifespan... yes, this is the one.]
no subject
I am rather curious -- where does that name originate from?
[It's... actually kind of a beautiful name, he notes to himself, and he can't help but gently smile. Perhaps some parental figure or sorts?]
no subject
[He really doesn't feel like getting into the complexities of Madarame's meaningless choice of "Sayuri" being the thing he most associates with his mother these days, so— that's that on that. He doesn't seem bothered by the question, at least.]
It is the name of a painting that is close to my heart.
no subject
[Honestly, he understands -- having named his animals after his loved ones that made a very big impact on him. He doesn't question much else, and he can only smile softly as he adjusts himself where he's resting. Astralin quiet for a moment, before a soft hum leaves him.]
Was there anything else you needed help with, Yusuke?
no subject
[Well, he doesn't know things sometimes just Pop Up, so he isn't expecting to see it again anytime soon. Alas.]
But no, that was all of my most urgent needs. Thank you again for your aid.
