It seems I'm not the only one who was contacted for "sentencing," so I'd like to pool our information. I was contacted by someone named "Jerry" and told to go to City Hall. How many others received a similar order? I know it wasn't everyone, but maybe we can get an accurate count. Were you asked to meet with the same person, or someone different?

If anyone else feels comfortable sharing what their "sentence" was, that could also be useful. Mine was to investigate people I'm close to for evidence of crimes. 

[His tone is carefully neutral, but he doesn't seem thrilled about that. Loyalty... he still doesn't see any way to consider it a crime. Now he's being asked to atone for something like that?

... Anyway. What else does he need to add? He thinks about it for a moment, frowning softly, and then adds:]

Last thing. Does anyone who was summoned remember what happened inside the building?

I suppose I may as well ask: how many have been sentenced?

From my current count, 7. So not a lot of us, so far. Or not a lot that are comfortable sharing information about it, at least.

They are taking us in batches then, I suppose. I did not see anyone else when I was summoned. Then again, there do not seem to be many of us to begin with.

No, there aren't many of us. Still...it's a small number. It's possible this is just a test. Or they're choosing numbers small enough that no one is motivated to organize against them.

They have done nothing to prevent a revolt that I can see, save for restricting our abilities. There is nothing to prevent a crowd from simply storming the city hall.

A test seems more likely.

It's true. But when only a few people are picked, a lot of others probably think it's not their problem.

That being said, I agree that it's a test.
