we're playing two truths and a lie. if you've never played, it's a game where you say three things: two that are true, one that isn't, and everyone tries to guess which one's the lie.

if you wanna go hard mode, do it with the camera on.

[ the "camera" comes on a moment later to Reno's grinning face. ]

I'll go first!

One: I've got a license for just about anything that flies, and I'm a certified flight instructor.
Two: I've had the same job since I was twenty-two.
Three: I don't have a favorite color.

You make it sound almost like something out of a story. Who knows, maybe it's still out there, still remembering that one afternoon when it bit me five times and then started learning how to fetch.

[In a different world, in a safer time, maybe it would've been a fun pet to have. But the dwindling population on Gran Pulse couldn't afford to take that risk, and he was too young to know how serious it was at the time.]

Honestly? It's pretty good. Makes a great steak.
