we're playing two truths and a lie. if you've never played, it's a game where you say three things: two that are true, one that isn't, and everyone tries to guess which one's the lie.

One: I've got a license for just about anything that flies, and I'm a certified flight instructor.
Two: I've had the same job since I was twenty-two.
Three: I don't have a favorite color.

Re: voice;
Once it was laudatory stanzas to recognize fallen comrades. But these days, I mostly focus on writing about the nature I find around me.

For one, I've become quite fond of the flowers that a fellow Chosen named Astralin has been growing around here. I've always had a soft spot for orchids.
Aside from that, there's something to be said about the rustic simplicity of this place and its people. It's just a simple village of people doing their best in unkind times- and seeing people come together like that is inspiring.

[The knight's eyes widen as he realizes that he just gave it away. His posture becomes something of a slump, as he realizes that he's rather terrible at this game. He's far too willing to volunteer things.]
I- damn, I suppose I've given that one away. You're not wrong though, it is true. Even old soldiers can write poetry.
